hi everybody, i'm a truespace and povray person... and a poser wannabe. i was wanting to post and ask when the next poser was coming out but geez... thats such a generic post for any software that i just couldn't bring myself to do it. but i wanted to know so i could decide on whether to buy poser 4 or wait for 5. so poser 5 is gonna be a while, huh? thanks, miker

thanks for the warm welcome, sharen, c1rcle, chohole,
maxxarcher, and pokeydots. this place is way cool.
i logged on this morning and found an instant message
from a cohort from the defunct poserforum.net (sad).
i didn't even know renderosity had that capability.
i am AMAZED at all the stuff i see here... there are
galleries for work and contests, of course, but then
there are even places to sell your stuff and the cool
messaging system and i'm amazed at how many people are
on here at once, too!
get prepared! i got a bunch of newbie questions!

thats interesting, duane. when did you download the trial? i got it about 2 months ago, and both import and render were very specifically turned off. of course since i was a beginner, there's always the chance i was doing something wrong, but i did what i thought it took to do a render, and i got a dialog box saying that it was turned off. miker

hi derek, they do indeed. get it at: http://www.curiouslabs.com i'll hafta say that i was disappointed with the demo. they only had a dumb looking guy for a model and you couldn't import anything and you couldn't render to check the engine quality. i was not a happy camper. good luck, miker
