Oh my god... I tried the physical surface shader in P13. That's when I noticed the disastrous funnel-shaped iris on the toon character La Femme. That looks incredibly stupid...

OptiX Ultra Caustics  without PostFX

Not the best textures for the ship.....a pity.

Win 11, Poser 13, OptiX high - approx. 45 seconds, PostFX denoiser 0.5 etc.  Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core, 64GB, RTX 2070 Super....

Ok... that's a little bit better. I played around a bit on the denoiser... grunt.

And I almost forgot about my mother-in-law... and then along came Poser 13.

More of my new skin shader

This is beautiful!  :)

The road to crafting a top notch skin shader is hard. For a long time, I tried with Poser 12 not to make the characters look like mannequins, with shiny skin like a sweaty sumo. On male and older female characters, it's easier to trick with bump and normal maps. The skin may be blotchy and more wrinkled. With young people (and those young at heart?) it is difficult to get a grip on this waxy, slightly translucent surface.

Still not quite happy with lights in some places, but not too bad (added the flag just in case, but she has clothes):

I can't stop experimenting... Now you don't have to wait so long for a result and the renders in P13 look much better than in P12.

Rendered in OptiX middle mode , very fast...
