How about trying a MAT pose file with the directory structure typed in (D/:textures/my texture.jpg) If you have a .pz2 MAT pose you can edit them in any text editor. Ron, if you`re interested in that sort of thing we should talk.
Thread: Help! Problem with eyebrows and eyelashes | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Looking at the screenshot the most important one for LindaB seems to be the highlight must be set to black (RGB 0,0,0). This is easily overlooked. Transmaps don`t react well to highlights and generally should not be used in combination.
Thread: What in tarnation does this mean? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Check and see if that file is a Poser file, look in the Runtime folder. Just because it says "Runtime" it doesnt mean it is a Poser specific .DLL, and may be a MAC standard file instead that
s corrupted.

something. If you open notepad, you can write a long message and cut and paste it in afterwards! No more lost messages!! Sorry to return this thread to it original subject.BP
Thread: Texture Mapping Problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Your problem is occuring because Richard doesnt use trans maps in those areas. The eyebrows and pubic area are painted on the skin. You need to go into the Render:Materials editor and set the following settings for the Pubic Hair and UpperEyebrows: Highlight colour 0,0,0 ie Black Transparency Min 100% Transparency Max 100% Transparency Falloff 0% No trans, texture or bump maps applied (they
re not needed and it may save memory) In essence this is turning them "off" Hope this helps. B)
Thread: What's wrong with my shadows? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There are bugs in Poser, one of which seems to cut out shadows. I have PZ3 file of a sunlight simulator. It works okay, but if I add the lights to another scene - no shadows. I just got some Pro pack Python scripts for light management which allow you to remove all lights from a scene before adding new ones and these have helped.

Good point, Im guilty of a couple myself. As a forum newbie the one time I did preview I lost the original message, so have avoided it since. I didn
t think about notifications to others, as I turned that option off. Something to remember.
Thread: Vicy one to Vicy2 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
My Vicky 2 upgrade uses exactly the same .obj file as Vicky 1. You are`nt trying to apply a combination morph, ie head and eyes, shoulders and forearms, whole body ?
Thread: playing around with a spotlight (light experiment) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Omni lights are part of the light settings in Poser. Im doing this from memory as I
m at work right now. Turn on the light control, that ball with the position of the lights showing. On the bottom of it are some buttons, one creates light, one delete lights, and one adjusts properties, theres a colour setter and a slider adusts the light intensity. Got it? okay, click on the one that adjusts light properties and there are two tickboxes, one says spotlight the says, erm, infinite or something like. Click on that one and you have a point light. Hope you find this of some help B)

Thread: Additional library folder? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The short answer is no. You seem to be stuck with the preset library folders. Your only option really is to tidy up what you already have in Windows Explorer or similar. Hopefully Poser 5 (When??) will address this.
Thread: Upper Limits on Texture and Bum map sizes? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Can`t help with high-res graphics as I only render at 3500x2325 final image size. Poser Pro Pack has plug-ins for Lightwave and 3D Studio Max and Cinema 4D soon. These allow the programs to "Host" a Poser Scene directly. At the lower end Truespace and Bryce will render Poser figures imported as .OBJ files, although you have to re-apply the Trans maps. Natural pose 2 will directly transfer animations and stills to Bryce and Truesapce with trans maps done already. Hope this gives you some ideas.
Thread: Questions and Concerns regarding .cr2's - HELP!!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
This thread may be considered dead, but one comment made by thgeisl is exactly the situation I found. My .CR2 was created, and did contain the geometry, but after editing the colour and re-saving it the .OBJ was split out and saved as a separate file by Poser. After that the .CR2 failed to work. You should create a PHI file first and put the .OBJ file in the geometries folder before using the heirachy editor as Ajax states.
Thread: I've Done it! Tranferring Full Body Morphs! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Nice work, Ill give this a go. Thanks for the sharing the info B) Eric501, you should look into magnets, which will shape any clothes to any figure, they aren
t difficult to use, just fiddly to get exactly right.
