Have you ever seen "Buffy" where everyone folds their arms and starts bitching at each other? Bingo!

I concur absolutely, no criticism of your comments was meant Ron, apologies if I sounded argumentative but I know from personal experience that creativity will always out. Your critique of this work is fair and helpful, as it should be.

"We split the atom, That was etc." Capital T after a comma? I agree with the comments made about spelling and grammar, but artisitic vision and creativity is special and shouldnt be stifled by something like spelling mistakes. (A picture
s worth a thousand badly spelled words). Mesh Magik, its a good start and I look forward to seeing more. As a suggestion/comment, have you written a script? It would help to run a scripted version through a word processor
s spell-checker (Blimey, how many errors have I made so far?) and if you`re adding the text in a paint package you could always cut and paste the text in from the script. You may already do it but putting the text on a separate layer would make editing and layout easier.

Sorry for butting in but what Jim means is the menu on the right hand side, the one where you load props, poses, lights etc from. Select the "figure" heading, as if you were loading a .CR2, then the sub-heading where you want to save the character. Then press the + sign at the bottom and give the figure a name. Viola, it saves it in the menu with your revisions. Hope this helps. B)
Thread: What are the origins of your Renderosity Identity? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
My name is Mark Routledge and I am a member of "No Imagination Anonymous" I was going to re-register but Ive read that some vendors get freaked when you post images and they don
t see your username on their purchasers list. As an addendum question how many different IDs do you have in total outside Renderosity? Currently I have 4.

Very nice. A little touch-up on the hip crease as per the knee will slightly improve it. To get a lot more feedback don`t forget to post it in the galleries also. I too am an airbrusher and know just what you mean. Best of all you can do a series of poses and camera angles and lighting tests.

With UVmapper and an exported Michael head (from poser as an .OBJ and tick 4 topmost leftside buttons on final dialog box) you can make your own template. Load the .OBJ into UVmapper and it will automatically generate a texture map. It will come out exactly as the DAZ version. The advantages of this method are 1. You can generate any size of map you want and 2. it will be a .BMP, without a .JPEGs attendant degradation. DO NOT use this OBJ for anything else as it infringes DAZs copyrights if you do. Good luck.

Angola is right of course, Renderosity itself is testament to just how inventive people can be with a limited program. Talk about pushing the envelope. I feel it requires a few extras to make the very best of it. Another free program I would recommend is Anim8or, which is excellent for editing morphs and creating props. Also within Poser you can edit props and characters with magnets to reshape them. I echo Momcats recommendation of PSP, in the UK it has just halved in price.
Thread: Morph targets... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Mike 1 and 2 should be identical meshes. Set the sharp teeth morph on Mike 2 only, no other morphs, then export the head only as an OBJ. Deselect all tickboxes except "save as morph target" then save it and load it onto Orc Mike then it should work fine. This assumes the Orc Mike you have is vanilla, ie you haven`t edited it and re-stitched the head onto the origianl model.
Thread: Reduce file size: Delete morphs?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Removing morphs individually can be done from Poser in the heirachy editor, but its a long slow process if you want to do them all. It has the advantage that while your doing it you can see which morphs you have used or not. My version of Morph Manager loses the full body morphs as it doesn
t support them. I reduced Victoria 2 from 20+ Mb to 10Mb without losing any face or body posing settings, all I removed was shaping stuff which my character didn`t need.
Thread: Duz it help to clear out files in Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Re your clear out, if you want to keep your original runtime to copy files from just rename it eg RuntimeA, then reinstall Poser. Back up the most precious stuff first! Do not delete the ground prop, if you use Walk designer do not delete the P4 lo figures or the Walk designer poses As I use Michael and Victoria I completely cleared out all the Poser 4 original stuff with no trouble, except the two above noted

There is a specific "out of memory" message that comes up when a prop or characters` .OBJ is in the wrong directory or is missing. You can open the PP2 or CR2 files in a text editor (Wordpad) and find what geometry it is looking for. Look for a line starting "figureResFile" , it occurs twice. for example: figureResFile :Runtime:Geometries:shoes:MikeBootsR.obj (the : is a MACs equivalent to a PCs /) your .OBJ must be exactly where this line says DO NOT open Victoria or Michael as they are 20Mb files and will take all day to opoen in a text editor!
