You're welcome Eblank... lol... that was fast... kewl render too! :)
As a general note... I've opened her up to the community for development as well (see initial post) so that people can make things for her and allow her to continue to grow...
I'll also be releasing new outfits for her from time to time myself... some will be paid to tie into my fantasy and sci-fi product lines... and some will be freebies to add to the main sets already available...

Fully rigged and pose-able, including fully rigged Jaw, Tongue, Eyebrows, and Eyelids allowing for a large range of motion and facial expression. Extra joints have been built into this figure to allow for a greater range of motion and for more realistic bending of body parts and limbs.
6 Body Shaping Morphs, 2 Limb Shaping Morphs, 9 Head Shaping Morphs, 2 Eye Morphs, 9 Facial Expression Morphs.
30 Blank Morph Channels for Custom Morph Injection in all bone locations.
4 Alternate Skin textures with easy Pz2 Mat Poses for application.
Alternate Skin Mat poses optimized for Toon and Realistic style Renders.
Alternate Toon-style Skins for use in Daz Studio Cartoon Render style with easy Pz2 Mat Poses for application.
8 Alternate Eye textures with Pz2 Mat Poses for application.
2 Custom Characters Poses with Custom Skin Textures and applied Character Morphs with Pz2 Poses for quick use.
2 Conforming Hair Styles with 2 Alternate Textures each.
6 Alternate Toon-style Hair Mat Poses in Pz2 format.
9 Alternate Finger and Toenail Textures, with Mat Pz2 Poses for ease of use.
Hair Figures and Clothing Figures include bump maps on load up (Loaded at 100% but the value of the bump will need to be manually assigned. I find that +/- .5% in Daz works well and in Poser +/- .15%).
Base Figure includes a basic outfit of Conforming Clothes (Sports Top and Shorts and Running Shoes complete with Morphs and Blank Morph Channels), with Additional Basic Clothing included in separate downloads, plus 2 Conforming Hair Figures, Textures, Bump Maps, Cr2’s, Pz2’s and all other files needed for this figure to be fully functional. Tested in Poser 7 and Daz Studio 2.3 and Daz Studio 4.
Best Render and Posing results are achieved with 1 level of Sub-D activated, to smooth out joint bends and surfaces.
Thread: Can someone unemotionally state the advantages of Genesis over V4/M4 in Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I would say that a pro of Genesis is it's easy adaptability... You can make a huge variety of creatures/characters without having to clutter up your runtimes with a multitude of standalone figures and morphs packs...
The downside is poly-count... much like the Gen 4 Figures, Genesis is higher poly meaning you can't use as many in a scene as you could with older figures, so it really depends on what you intend to use it for... for one or two people in a scene I'd say Genesis and the older Gen 4 figures work well... but if you want that crowd scene you'll probably still want to use the older figures as they aren't quite as resource intensive comparatively...
From my point of view Genesis is better for somethings and not for others.... but that's just my opinion... take it for what you will... :)

Having given the Pro vs Hobbyist some thought... I think it's better defined by looking at how one aproaches the work rather than simply looking at it as Pro=paid etc...
An amature or 'hobbyist' is probably doing it for fun... and may go weeks or months between works and is more concerned in general with the joy they get in the works they create. A hobbyist can be just as skilled or even more skilled that a 'pro' but isn't aiming at making a living off of it nessessarily.
A pro may be aiming at making a lving off his work... but being paid doesn't make them more or less skilled that the hobbyist (infact I've seen 'pro' works that were horrible compared to some of the work from gifted amatures out there)...
Where the 'pro' differes truely from the hobbyist is in his aproach to the work... he/she daily works on projects in some form, treats it like a job he/she enjoys rather than just looking at it for the fun it can be. The 'pro' also will respond to his end users (clients) in a much more business-like manner where as the amature/hobbyist might not...
In both cases the end result is the same... artworks etc get created, but the major factor between pro and hobbyist is the aproach and attitude towards the work... atleast in my humble opinion...

I agree completely... and for the record it's s shame that such an important peice of art was destroyed in the manner it was...

That is really bad.. lol..
On another note... knowing your limits and not trying to push them is good on one hand but bad on the other... you can't learn anything new if you don't push past what you currently know and you won't gain new skills if you don't make mistakes to learn from... :)
(Though in the case of the ahem restoration i'd say they probably should have said it was past their limits)

I am also sad that due to this passing I am seeing the end of two eras in my life-time... The Space Shuttle and old Hero's of the Space Race... I was born just before the Shuttle first flew and now it's gone too but I remember being glued to the TV every time they televised a launch and I am happy to say that I saw the last shuttle fly via a live podcast from the Cape (I stayed up all night and followed the launch for 12 hours straight right up till the view cut-off in orbit).. I caught this screen capture right as it lifted off! :)
Good Flight to him and all that have followed in his footsteps and godspeed!
