Quote - I second that lol. I now use Chrome solely and wouldn't go back to IE for anything and I'm a person that hates change so it took me awhile to give Chrome a shot but I kept having so many issues everytime IE updated to a new version that I finally decided to change and do NOT regret it at all. If I have to use a second browser sometimes, I go for FF but never IE
I'm a FireFox man. I'm forced to use IE at work.
Chrome is okay, but I hate that there is no task bar at the top (File, Edit, View, etc) and it's annoying not being able to search a page and all the other things I do with a task bar.
FireFox is king for me.

Quote - We don't call it March Madness for...well obvious reasons..lol:)
And thank you!!!
Well, I wouldn't worry. Other sites have "March Confusion"
I'm hoping for some Madness from you lot!
I don't have much to spend this month, but I'll try to keep up with the insanity.

Mercedes!
Your positivity is always appreciated (even when I don't agree with you, I still love hearing you comment).
Where have you been? You have been MIA over at the Daz site for awhile.
Have you finished that book you said you were working on?

FELLOW ARTISTS
You guys know me from around the forums. You know I'm not a corporate puppet and I don't toe the line.
Just wanted to ask all of us to give this change a couple of weeks before starting to scream TOO loud.
I'm sure a LOT of you remember how things were at that other site. They were supposed to be down for 2 days, that stretched out to almost a week. Then the forums didn't work and the site was almost completely unusable. I'm not even going to mention the security problems (the site kept telling me "Hello, John Baker", but my name is NOT John Baker). Even now, nearly 9 months later, we are STILL having problems (today many people can't put things in the cart).
I'm sure you remember how when the forums at the other site came back, posts that were even slightly critical of the "upgrade" were ripped down without care. If you didn't know better, you would think that everyone loved the new site. Some people here have had posts removed, but it still is nowhere near as pervasive as entire threads being disappeared.
So, yeah, the site looks bad. It's too bright. Some things are too big. Most of the problems being mentioned are valid. STILL this site works better than that other site and this upgrade is not even a week old.
Let's keep reporting problems to thread set up for that and not threaten to leave until the techs have a fair chance to bring the site up to snuff.
They've been playing straight with us, so let's give them a few weeks. I think they'll rise to the occassion.
Thanks

Quote - How do we find the clerance section now?
Hey Tigger
It took me awhile to find it.
Goto the "Marketplace" tab
scroll down to "Sale Items"
You'll see a bar marked "Dept".
On the middle of that bar you'll see "Filter By", click on that
On the middle of the dropdown menu, you'll see "Clearance"

Quote - I don't understand what compels certain sites to constantly change their "look." I can understand refreshing a "look" if the site deals with site design/web graphics, but if an enterprise is just selling merchandise such as Renderosity does, this whole remake just doesn't compute for me. Folks should remember that often the site design is a trademark of sorts--an identity. Why would an enterprise want to look like their competitors? This new site design only lumps Rosity in with RDNA and DAZ...there is very little now that is distinctive. Really a shame.
My favorite Rosity design was 2 iterations back. Looked great and worked well. Why change if those criteria for a site are met?
I agree. My favourite Rendo design was 2 iterations ago. It looked great and worked well.
You guys had a better site than your competitors even with the last version.
I thought I had accidentally clicked onto the Daz site (I do that sometimes because they are right together in the bookmarks).
Well, Stacey says its a work in progress, so I'll have faith in the techs at Rendo.
I will give a few Kudos to the techs. The site STILL works. I can still find things and navigate. It doesn't look right, but I can shop, so thanks.
Thread: Using Poser files in Carrara | Forum: Carrara
I usually have to use zips in my computer manually.
I rarely have trouble with Poser files in Carrara.
How is the work with the Dreamland Models going?
Thread: Animating V4 & M4 in Carrara without bvh or DAZ Animate | Forum: Carrara
Restif
I have done some experience animating with Carrara, both Manually and otherwise.
I must say, for me, aniBlocks saved me a LOT of time and heartache. Once I got the aniblock importer, I left manual animation behind.
That said, the others gave you good advice.
The only thing I would add is get your entire script together first. I come from a film background, so I actually do end up with a few unused shots, but I find approaching this as I would a film, really helps me make the most powerful animations. It also gives me choices in the edit bay.
Best of luck!

I own and use the Dreamland Models in Carrara.
I think they show up as props in the folder (I'm not at my computers, so I'm not sure).
Some of the textures can be modified (especially the glass and metals) to make them look even better than they do in Daz or Poser.

Tina is off for the weekend and she was waiting on me to get with her on how to handle this and I was sick then had to go out of town for a convention.
She will be contacting you during the next business day.

Thanks Stacey.
Didn't know what was going on.
Sorry you were not well. Glad you're back on your feet.
Take Care

Hello. I emailed you, but never heard back.
Have they credited my Credit card or Store credit or whatever?

Oh, I see.
Thanks.
Don't see the point behind the extra step, but I'm grateful I can still see the products page with just one extra click.

I saw your original post over at the Daz site and thought it was brilliant and very accurate.
