If you want to try something that can use Poser/Daz products and is great with animating, you might want to try Carrara.
You can get a free copy if you buy...

Thanks for thinking about us, but
If it Ain't Broke DON'T fix it.
I know how tech heads think. They love adding cool new stuff, but some of us have old machines that just can't keep up.
Daz let it's tech guys redo their site and it is a mess!
I really liked the Whats New link where it was. The only cool things I need are good products, low prices and lots of sales/coupons etc. If you NEVER changed another thing many of us would be happy as long as we can shop easily and save.

think it is more about the whole concept of rigging and not only jiggle or wiggle.
So instead of showing jiggle or wiggle and a peek at a digital panty, show "real" examples, softbody dynamics and better rigging are more than some pole-dancing chicks. For the moment it looks more like your aiming 14 year old, button faced boys.If you want to be taken serious, use serious examples.
Actually, I liked what he put up.
I'm neither 14 or button faced.
Then again, I like backsides and boobs a fair amount, so I make no apologies.
I take anyone who has a passion for art seriously.
Best of luck!
Thread: Is it possible to make a real movie with DAZ? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
It is possible.
If you look at Cameron's "Avatar", hundreds of artists were put to work in the effort. Rendering farms processed the work.
It is extremely complicated and time consuming.
If you really want to try, start with something like a 30 second commercial. See how that goes. Keep in mind the time & effort you put into that 30 seconds will have to be done an additional 160 times (for an 80 minute feature). If you still want to do it, roll up your sleeves.
I'm not trying to discourage you, but I want you to know it can be done. It can look good. It WILL take a LOT of time and work.

Your work is excellent. I don't really understand why people close their stores. It seems that a person could just not add any new items.
Your work stands the test of time. Your older pieces are as cool as the newer stuff. I am an extremely satisfied customer.
You take Care and I wish you the best in all you do.

Hello
I have been lurking around Renderosity for years. Buying things and the like, but never getting involved. Until now.
I have Poser 4 and DazStudio. I haven't had time to learn either programme very well (doing the 2 job thing will do that to you), but I like Daz because the cost of entry (free) makes it very attractive. A lot of props and characters can be had for $1.99. I'm an artist, but the plain fact is that our arts community where I live is for the most part broke. Free software and $2 add ons is about the right price. Daz is a little easier to learn too.
I LOVE a lot of the work you vendors do here at Renderosity. I go to buy some of it and I see "NOT Tested in D|S". If the stuff being sold was $1.99, I'd take the risk. When the price starts creeping up past $8, I just throw the item in my Wishlist and wait for the day I buy a new version of Poser (and find the time to learn it).
I like the idea DavidGB put forth. I don't believe it should be mandatory to do the "D" system, but I can tell you for a fact that would net some sales for vendors around here. I have personally walked away from buying items here because I was unsure of its compatibility or level thereof. The few people I know who use Daz (or Poser for that matter) steer clear of Renderosity when they shop for Daz stuff.
I wish more vendors did test in Daz, but I guess those of us who use Daz and buy items here should post as soon as they know, the level of compatibility with Daz of each given item. I know I will start doing this.
Thanks and take Care
