Hey _dodger, I just posted my submission for the contest. That kit is awesome! What I did for the staff was loaded the votive, and positioned it where the glow is. Then deleted the votive, and parented the Omni light to the glow, and changed the color. Worked great. Took about an hour and a half to render, and used a ton of ram lol.Thread: Curious Website Status | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

You gotta make a Unicorn prop to include with this figure! I agree with MachineClaw. Make some hooves for him. Would look alot better.

Nope, on a pc. The movie export in poser wasn't quite working right. I tried to make it in DIVX, but no go. I know it was low quality, but I just wanted a quick simple one to show the light set for the saber.

Have you tried unchecking 'remove backfacing polygons'? That's a usual culprit for something like that.

Thread: Cloth Dynamics - Some questions... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well the first thing is to make sure there are no intersections with your figure. Second, it really depends on what cloth it is. Is it already a dynamic cloth, or a piece of conforming clothing that you're trying to turn into dynamic? Poserfashion.net has some really good tutorials for the cloth room.

The Minotaur is very nice. I'd say keep going with the monsters you're working on. I wouldn't be interested in Frank, but a mummy and vampire for sure.

About the splitting shoulders-make a "soft decorated" group, and highlight where that seam is. Soft Decorated will try to keep the polygons together, while still being dynamic, unlike a constrained group. Haven't messed around with (rigid, hard? the other one at any rate) Decorated, but I assume it holds together more. For the bump map, try connecting it to the gradient bump instead of bump channel. I was having issues with that as well.

heh. Seeing that pic you posted, I should twist the hairs, and maybe be more "true to life"

_dodger, I'd say whatever you end up making, somebody will buy it. So I agree with bloodsong. Make a good product that you're proud of, and offer that for sale. At first when you mentioned saloon, I thought no way. But after seeing your preview pic, I think that would sell. Good model that could be used in lots of situations. The space knight I would definitely buy, cause that's what I'm into. I agree with Mizombe as well about the Eddie thing. Would be cool to have that as well. But anyway, go with what you feel is your best product, and not necessarily would be the best seller. I think you'd enjoy it more that way.

How about some MIB blasters? Noisy Crickett or something. Your work is awesome. I like anything you make, especially Cerebus!

I think it would be a good idea. I'd say talk more about using the features, what the little settings do, etc. In the manual, hardly anything is talked about the cloth room, and some settings aren't even mentioned. So really delving into the material would be great, and yes, I would purchase it.
