Check Spike's tutorial (listed above) for using Trans Maps in Bryce. They require a bit of handling.

Sorry for the wait. The file Davo sent is still hosed. I'm trying to figure out what is causing it. I think one of the tentacles escaped. Anyhoo, I just said I was female; I didn't say what species. SewerRat -- I'll try not to hold your lineage against you.

Select the figure and File: Export as Wavefront .obj file. You can always run it through the UV Mapper (available on the Fun Stuff area thanks to Steve Cox) to make a texture map and decorate it as you want.

Go to Peter Sharpe's web site: http://www.petersharpe.com/Tutorials.htm He has a tutorial for importing Poser textures into Bryce. There's also a bunch of other great Bryce tutorials. BTW: He mentions that if you have Bryce 3.1, you have to rotate the texture on the X axis. This is not the case for Bryce 4. Go to: http://poseworks.8m.com/ The site has a great texture map for the P4 man and P4 woman which show exactly where things go on your figure. If you have a paint program, you may be able to bend a photo of yourself on the texture map so it wraps properly onto the model.

I prefer it when the files have directions instead of autoloading into specific directories. Some of us don't have our Poser files in expected places. PhilC, for example, is really nice and has his .zip files automatically extract to program filesposer ... The problem is, my Poser files are not in the program files directory so I have to move all the folders and files. Now that I know what these programs do, I'll be sure to give them a try. Thanks!

I really hope they do a P4 male as well. If they do, I'll be very inclined to get both. With just the female, I'm a lot less likely. The P4 male is so much less useable than the P4 female as it is. I don't want just half of the set -- unless I want to do only lesbian scenes. ;-)

The edging needs work. It looks just like SCA armor. I prefer the figure on the left overall. Chainmail ought to have something underneath as protection. The figure on the right looks like it is wearing decoration, not functional armor. Nice glove texture. Is the vest supposed to be leather or suede? (It looks like suede.) Can you tighten the skirt around the waist? It bulges out oddly.
