I have to figure that one out...I don't have much experience with bump maps. I actually painted on top of a copy of the texture maps for the bodies in question. That may complicate things?

After 51 years of sleep deprivation, I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea. My body stopped breathing hundreds of times a night, and woke to save my life. Not very conducive to restfulness? I am not hooked to a machine which keeps a continuous flow of air going into my body through my nose. The mask fits over the nose. It ain't pretty, and I am not supposed to open my mouth when I'm in bed. (My wife loves that!) I sleep better these days...Just a few other problems I need to handle.

Wow, I never met you, and I already feel you're my friend! Seriously, if you never gave another freebie, I would always appreciate what you've given to us. As for that CD: Hopefully I'll have good news in the job scene soon... I really want to get working again so I can save up for some first-class stuff (your poses CD would be one of the priorities on my list.)

Yes, I did figure out that the bump maps were making Vicki's painted suit look...bumpy, and fixed that. As for her nipples and belly button, well I like them, grin. While we're at it, I painted a suit for Mike.

There seems to be something weird about the skin texture... bumpy or something... Do you have any idea of the cause of this distortion? Is it my own sloppy painting?

I spent a lot of time, and literally painted a body suit on Victoria. I think there are a lot of imperfections. You can see where my brush strokes weren't entirely even. Perhaps I could have used a fill tool? At any rate, it is an accomplishment!!! I'm no longer afraid of painting bodies!

Now here is Vicki's painted body. The nipples are the same color as her torso....But they are surely visible!!!

Guess what guys? If the nipples stick out after you've painted the surrounding body, you want to select the nipples and apply the texture you used in your paint job. Remember that the head is separate from the body...Both those areas use different texture maps... as well as some other body areas. You don't want to choose to have the entire figure use the same texture, or you end up in this case with a white face, etc.....Kind of defeats the paint job I did on her torso.

Believe me, I'm just trying to figure everything out. I got Mike and Vicki because it seemed like they were the "standard," and worked the best. Now it seems many of the poses won't work. I'm just trying to understand the alternatives. I'm not trying to do any one thing just yet...if at all.

OK, now who has some good Knight poses? I just used the $10 gift certificate from DAZ (for entering the 3DCC contest), and finally got the texture maps for the DAZ Knight. Now I have no idea what to do with him. So far I found knight and horse poses, but I am not ready to tackle a horse too.
