No my friend, I would have wanted to order the CD. Unfortunately, I am currently in poor financial shape. I am hoping to return to my past employer after a layoff.. In the meantime I was lucky enough to get a few "must haves" such as Mike and Vicki before I had to stop spending. I still haven't begun to scratch the surface of what I downloaded from your site. But I am much more interested in poses sets that are specifically designed for Mike or Vicki since others that are designed for the standard P4 characters often don't seem to work with Mike or Vicki.

Thanks for the tips really. I never see a texture map. I click on a picture of Mike that says Michael Map, then I see a nude Michael... So this is where I am lost.

Yes, I know the hair is not on the head, and obviously dropped off her head. I figured it wasn't worth trying to fix it when I wanted to know how to avoid the problem to begin with. So maybe I should pose my characters nude, and hairless? Then when they are posed, put on hair and clothes?

Schlabber, you are the master. I was fortunate enough to download the entire contents of your Posing is an Art web site. Now you say your CD contains all the more poses and stuff? I was impressed with the web site. I will be more impressed with the CD Now how much is your CD?

Mike and Vicki seem to be the ultimate way to go. I've worked with other characters, including Ultramorph Woman 3 by Confusius. She is the first woman I bought (grin). Unfortunately many poses left her arms and legs looking broken. I don't have nearly as much trouble with Vicki or Mike.

Or should I be using a Texture Map to color on? I know nothing about texture maps. I've seen them around, but don't know what to do with them.

You are giving me more information than DAZ has. I appreciate that. I think they really should list somewhere that the Costume Shop CD most likely wouldn't work with Mike, etc. SO I guess I can't color leggings within Poser, so I'd need to load up an image/paint program to fake the leggings, etc?!

Yes, you are to be commended for helping out the community. I've seen many a fine artist struggle with the limitations of freebie web site hosts, perhaps to give up and fade away. Anything you do is a tremendous help in that area. Thank you.

You get that error a lot when a web server is being overwhelmed with requests. In other words, wait awhile and try again. Sometimes it's better to visit a web site in the "off peak" hours. Peak hours are usually first thing in the morning before people go to work, during supper time, when people come home and want to go online, etc. I used to work weird hours, and that was perfect for avoiding peak online hours.

Um, are you guys lucky enough to have a CD Writer? If not, you ought to buy one. They're the cheapest means of backup I've found so far...and they can be great protection against computer crashes. I have downloaded just about everything you can get on Renderosity and other web sites. Everything is backed up on a large set of CD's....for my own personal use of course. (Artists don't want us redistributing their work.)

Well one thing I've resigned myself to: If we get the money to buy Windows XP, it will only be installed on one of our networked computers. That is unless Microsoft gives us a really good deal on a license or whatever would be necessary to have XP installed on both computers. We are networked here at home, and have no problems with Windows ME. In fact it set up all our network stuff for us when we installed ME from scratch on both computers. Windows XP did the same.
