I have to wonder if those who feel Anton is behaving in an unprofessional manner have stood in the presence of a CEO during a disappointing quarterly sales report. I fail to see how one's employment status precludes them from being human and displaying a little frustration.

Morph obj files are fine if they contain only vertex data (mashed, so to speak). If that is not the case, then they should not be distributed by their creator, unless the creator also owns the rights to the original model on which the morphs are based.

Free stuff review sounds like the best solution. Banned people will come back as somebody new or just move on to another site and continue.

hauksdottir,
Yes, I saw that post earlier. He's talking about crosstalk in Poser 4 and copy and paste in Poser 5. It's kind of hard to tell from the post, but he isn't saying copy and paste puts morphs into a figure that didn't already have the morph (such as a clothing model). He's saying we can transfer the settings, 1.000 for example, of one figure's morph dial by highlighting that 1.000 in the dial label, pressing control-c, then going to the clothing figure, highlighting the exact same morph that is already built into the clothing figure, and pressing control-v.
Frankly, Poser 4's crosstalk is easier in this case. If the figures have like morphs, everything just happens automatically.

I could be wrong, but I'm not sure it works that way. If the associated morph targets are already present in the clothing (barbarian Vicki dial and barbarian catsuit dial, for instance), then you can cut and paste the value from Vicki's dial to the catsuit's dial. But, if the catsuit doesn't have a barbarian dial, where is Vicki's barbarian value going to get pasted?
However, using The Tailor to make a barbarian morph for the catsuit would enable the cut/paste option.

whbos,
"I haven't had any problems with XP other than a few program hangs and that stupid box popping up asking me if I want to send the info. to Microsoft. Occasionally I do if I'm online at the time."
Right-click My Computer. Left-click Properties. Select the Advanced tab up at the top. Now look for the button near the bottom of that Advanced page called "Error Reporting." It's just above the Cancel button. Inside that Error Reporting option, you can turn off that notify MS nonsense.

I'm a huge fan of XP and feel crippled on a 9x box. If your tech is experienced, I wouldn't worry about the upgrade. My only suggestions: Have at least a half-gig of RAM. If you like to run Photoshop and Poser at the same time (such as when texturing), then a full gig of RAM is a good idea. Also, I would ask the tech not to convert the C drive's (where the operating system resides) FAT32 partition to NTFS. I can't explain the reasoning behind this without offering pathetic geek lingo, so I'll just say it is a matter of convenience.
Thread: "Empty" V3 morphs? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I can certainly live with it, Anton. V3 is the bomb. The morphers did a great job and her poly distribution is so well done. The new UV mapping is amazing and you guys went to a lot of extra effort in making the V3_V2 version and the UVS files for V2_V3. She is a really impressive product, all around. Nice effort.
BTW, I'm having a little trouble with the web store and didn't get an e-mail answer on Friday. It involves some gift certificates and things that will stop being on sale at the end of the month, so I really need to resolve it by tomorrow. Should I just call Monday?

I'm anxious, Mychelle. I'd like to see what I can do with her in zBrush. Thanks for the previews.

Objaction Mover is a tool for redistributing modified object files. For example, I take the Vicki 1/2 object file (blMilWom.obj) into a modeling program, cut the head off and weld my own new head onto the Vicki body. I've taken the DAZ model, modified it, and now I want to redistribute what I did. I can encode my modified Vicki object file with Objaction Mover, so that somebody has to have the original DAZ Vicki object file in order for Objaction Mover to decode my modified version.
Objaction Mover has its uses, I just can't think of how it would apply to getting V2 clothes to fit V3, unless the mannequin is really just a modified DAZ object file. If that is the case, then it might have been a good idea to encode it with Objaction Mover prior to distribution. Although, nobody from DAZ has said anything yet, so it doesn't appear to be a problem.
