I don't suppose someone's done a no gen morph for Antonia yet, cyberscape's 2nd skin swimsuit's are nice but that 'cameltoe' is too much

The older fairy forest free content doesn't work in DS3, you need DS2.3 to update the data folder contents before DS3 can use it.
Both Stonemason & Maclean's early stuff also has similar problems in DS3.1Â
Only way to get a copy of DS2 now is to contact DAZ support and hope they give you a copy.

No idea if DAZ have fixed the issue with mixed figures or not, but when you use the .cr2 exporter it asks you to create an .OBJ, problem is that the mesh you create doesn't have one to reference so it's vertice order is all over the place. This means every single morph saved into the .cr2 is working on the wrong vertices, with the end result being morphs (including JCM's) exploding the mesh when thier used.

'Optimizing' is when DS converts the surface info into 3Delight's prefered .TDL format, these .TDL files are temporary files and get deleted when DS is closed.
When importing Poser content DS automatically optimizes the surface info in the background, and it's finished almost as soon as the files are loaded, but on loading a .DAZ scene file it can take it's own sweet time before it starts, if you hit render as soon as the scene is loaded you almost always get hit with 'Optimizing'.
Thread: Rhiannon's Tanya | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Tanya also has a set of INJ/REM that will pre inject the required ++ morphs into V4.2.
One thing is to make sure you are actually using V4.2 and not the QS version that comes with DS, as the Quick Start version is a cutdown version and doesn't have anywhere to inject the morphs into.
[RANT] With such a crappy edit post time it's no wonder this site has so many double & triple posts [/RANT]
Thread: Rhiannon's Tanya | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Tanya has a custom head morph so V4's head should change without having the ++ morphs injected, but for the full effect you do need to inject the ++ morphs into V4 before you apply Tanya to her.

Quote - Thanks, Bejaymac! No, I wasn't aware of that problem in D|S. Changing anything in the mesh at this point is tricky, but I'll see what I can do. I always thought that since Antonia is optimized for subD, it would be possible to use the low-poly version in D|S as a subD surface. Has anyone ever tried that? I still can't use D|S properly on my machine, unfortunately, or I would play with it more.
She does clean up with the SubD, but in DS3 SubD is now a 3Delight gimmick rather than true SubD, which means no exporting of a SubDed mesh, so we either have to apply SubD everytime we load her, or save her as a .daz file, but that's a user unfriendly, uneditable pile of garbage of a file format that's best kept for finished scenes, rather than single items (give me a CR2 & OBJ any day).

DS has a problem with Antonia, DS hates concave polygons, it breaks them and turns them jet black which then stand out in any render, and Antonia has several on her finger tips.
Any chance of splitting the offending quads into tri-poly.

Quote - no, i don't think that's accurate, from what i've read.
so, these are clothes designed for a particular simulator. but i don't think they're conforming at all, which you can do in Poser (make hybrid clothing). in fact, i'm pretty sure hybrids are not possible with the D|S system. if so, they've been oddly quiet about that feature, which isn't like DAZ or any successful company. and it especially seems impossible because the dynamic system is licensed by DAZ, not made by them.
The DS Dynamic clothing has a simple rigging that matches the Gen 4 figures, it's designed to allow the outfit to follow the base figures pose, that way you can use the single frame drape option rather than having to run an animated drape like in Poser.

Antonia doesn't have any of those problems in DS3 for me (3.0.1.142, 3.0.1.144 & the new beta 3.1.0.36 in both 32 & 64 bit versions), she does suffer from the dreaded "black polygon" though, as there are several on her finger tips, in both low poly and the full version.forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php
@ amy, if you have DS3A you can use the "Morph Follower" feature, but it doesn't see the ERC code so that part has to be done by hand.

Quote - Initialising does nothing to the morphs, it prepares the base CR2 file to accept the new morphs... so if you try to use them on a CR2 you saved before installing the morph package, it won't work.
Nope, it's the .pz2 files in the !DAZ:Michael 4 or !DAZ:Victoria 4 folders that are being updated, the .cr2 will still be the same one you originally installed, there's no morph channels in it so there's no need to update it. Instead of morph channels you will find a pile of "readscript" lines, these lines read the .pz2's and load all of the channel data that way. Writting back to the Library permanantly breaks the EXP link, as the channels are now either built into the new .cr2 or have been added to a .pmd.

Not a real problem, having the FST makes (re)rigging clothes a breeze, but it does help if you have a blank dev cr2 to use as a donor, rather than using Antonia .

Nope, sorry but it doesn't work with 118 either, the chest is better but the ankles & shins are still off, in the zeroed pose the bones in the legs & feet are in a different location than Antonia's.

Could a Poser user please try and conform Drakelot's bodysuit to Antonia 121, in DS I'm finding the bodysuits rig doesn't match Antonia's, and is causing problems at the chest & ankles.
