I have problems with clothing not doing what I want it to, but I don't think it's a problem with the people designing the clothes. Clothes always lose their scaling, at least for me, when I move the figure. Also, no piece of clothing ever fits perfectly in every pose, and always needs a tweak. I don't know if there is a proper way to deal with these problems, being a beginner, but my way of dealing with it is by getting the poses right before applying clothing.

The face is meant to be my real life face. I actually think I did a pretty good job of getting it right. Well, perhaps it's my face after being air-brushed, but the shape is right.

Well, one of the first things I wanted to do with Poser was create "erotica." Somehow, I'm guessing that an overwhelming majority of purchasers start out playing with those nude models.

After working on a few erotic scenes, I came to the conclusion that I probably wasn't making anything that hasn't been done before, so I haven't finished any of those scenes.

I hate to say it because I don't want to sound critical, but many of the images I browsed on renderotica just seemed pointless to me. On a level of pure pornography, photographs are simply better than computer-generated.

To be transformed from pornography to art, the image has to make some sort of statement, I think, or show something more profound than mere nudity or sexual acts. That's an especially tall order when it comes to erotic art- humankind has had a fascination with sex for millenia, and a lot has already been said about the subject.

Despite that, sexuality is about as universally appealing as any theme gets. Also, I that probably people assume there is more upside to sexual themes than other themes, so they're more willing to check out the sexual images.

I'm saying that like I don't do it too, which wouldn't be entirely accurate.

One thing that has disappointed me a bit is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of support for Michael and male figures, at least when compared to support for Victoria and the P4 Nude Woman. To me it's a sign that, at least somewhat, sex drives innovation.

Take a look through free stuff here. There are packages that include morph targets for non-thin persons, and for modeling mature persons. (At least for female figures, anyway.) There's a "fat vicki," (which I don't have), ultramorph woman with "fat" settings (which I have bought), and there is at least one package for mature women in free stuff (which I have downloaded but not yet used). Without additional morph targets, both Vicki and Mike have face morphs for "old" and either thin or heavy morphs (of course, when it's thin, just go to negative settings).

It depends on the licensing agreement. That DAZ's Victoria and Michael models are sold with a non-transferable license is actually in the agreement on which you must click to install the software. I checked them after reading the post. Whether or not it applies to other software depends on the licensing agreements with which they come.

Where are the mentioned utilities available? I took a quick look through free stuff here but didn't see them. Maybe I was looking for the wrong items.

The eBay sale is clearly illegal. The user agreement that comes with the DAZ's CDs states that the purchaser has a non-transferable license to use the models. That means you may not re-sell or give away the CD under any circumstances, even if you have deleted the model from your hard drive.

How do I weld the pieces together? I found an option for welding groups, but not props. I'd appreciate a step by step, down to with what menu I use to start.

Is pulling the seams together something I cannot do within Poser itself? I notice that the grouping tool has a Weld Group option, but that doesn't seem to let me weld different props.

I had problems getting in with my normal bookmark, but I was able to get in through clicking on a link to an affliated artist page, then following that link back to the main page. In any event, the problem seems over now, I can get in with my normal bookmark.
