what i meant about leaving both good and bad comments is simply this: good comments should be made public. bad comments should not - not one single company would disagree with me. bad comments should be treated only as an indication that there is an issue to be looked at and dealt with. if more people would contact the vendor directly when there is a problem (and i'm not speaking of anyone in particular here, just generalizing), instead of in a public forum, there would be no reason to leave a bad comment.

as regarding the feedback feature here in the marketplace: i think most vendors won't post a negative comment. that's just bad business! would nike put a commercial on t.v. showing people complaining about the blisters they get from a nike product? no. would any company purposely sabotage their own products in such a manner? of course not. i think most vendors, when they get a negative comment, will strive to fix the problem. then there's no longer a problem, see? i personally have 1 comment not made public...it was done by someone who had bought from me and another vendor on the same day, and accidentally "cross" posted their opinion :) hehehe... it baffled me for a minute, so i contacted them, and sorted it out. she kindly reposted her comments, and i promptly made it public :) however, the feedback option is an excellent feature, because it does give people a chance to give their product-related opinions....good and bad. peace! those are good ideas cin- :) i'm not sure how that would work...but i'll think some on it and see what i can work out with the store, or with individuals :) gladiator, thank you too :) i am working on dork at this moment, trying to come up with something for him...but fyi, my jewellery works with vickie, with very slight scaling on some pieces. i am still trying to get up the nerve to work on clothes for her again...the first package i did for her nearly killed me lol, when i kept trying to bash my head against her JPs!! actually, sharkey, the base texture is my Rhiannon Winter texture.....it's pretty much seamless :) i brought the rendered figure into photoshop as a tiff, then i played with hue/saturation, and then did all the cool stripes and hair. i don't much use deep paint...

Thanks all! Ming, I used PhotoShop 5.5 for the post work. It works very nicely with the wacom. Helen, I am still getting used to the pen. I keep hitting those little buttons as I paint! lol

This is because sometimes the original texture is converted to a jpg to make the download smaller. If you can't find the right texture format, just hit cancel and say "no" when Poser askes if you would like to find missing files. Wait a few and the figure should appear with no texture. You can now go to the materials manager and load the jpg as a texture. As for the blank stage, seems like a common poser bug. I usually just restart Poser and try again. Hope this helps a bit. Styxx

As long as you have Poser4, you can select the clothing item and then go to the figure pull down menu. Click "conform to" and pick your figure (usually figure1) That will keep the clothes on the body during posing and animation. For hair, just double click on the hair and click "pick Parent" in the menu you get, choose head. Hope this helps, Styxx
