Quote - I spotted this amp at Sharecg a while back:

However, whilst its a valve amp, it's a fairly contemporary model...
This reference is more like what Jimi Hendrix used:

Thanks Monkeycloud! The Marshall may not be accurate but it's close enough for now. Maybe I can adjust the texture to bring it closer. Those clothes look promising too.

Alicia rocks! Didn't think this thread would have such legs but it will be a great resource for future Posers.

That Jazmine hair with the little bow would be perfect . I'd like to thank everyone for their input it's been very helpful. All I need now are some creative ideas, anyone know where I can buy some of them, lol?
peace

Quote - I think you can use the morphs with the Alicia package, I have used it so many times and really love it. The textures are great, comes with a cap too. Lots of different styles. Sharen

The Alicia package looks promising, thanks for the tip

Quote - > Quote - > Quote - Here's one I did. Now, I cannot remember where I got the hair used here. I know that it came with a package named Ultra Baby, and I believe it's for MilBaby 3, but I just moved it into place and scaled it to fit The Baby 4 (which is a morph of Kids4). I've searched everywhere looking for Ultra Baby, but evidently it's no longer available. I can't find it anywhere, including ShareCG. Sorry.
Â
Make sure you backup your files. That hair's as good as gold. I'll keep looking!
Yeah, that's why it stays in my main runtime. It's perfect for a baby and a toddler.
I just wish I could find Ultra Baby for you so I could point you there.Â
When I first started with this hobby, that was my first mission - to find a baby that looked like a baby. I bought and downloaded everything I could find for babies.
Â
Well it looks like we're on the same page, or at least the same chapter. My mission as I resume this hobby after many years is baby stuff and African American hair for my adults. Looking for Baby 4 but it seems like it may have gone down the memory hole as I only find Baby 3 (or stuff like "sweet baby", I'll save those for later, lol). Do you prefer Kids 4 over Matt and Maddie? I could lose a day fooling with the preschoolers facial morphs but the kids have more items for sale. BTW: do you know where to find a good high chair and other paraphernalia?

Do you mean the hair that comes with the stock Poser 8 figures? I didn't see where they had many morphs to them. Maybe I'm missing something? Can I use the hair and morphs on a different figure?
Oh, I see the link now. Thanks.

Quote - > Quote - @ Glitterati3D, Nice! I have Afro Magic2 but could use some braids. I'm trying to fit an African American toddler though, so need something thats maybe less sophisticated. Good stuff though and glad to see it's available.
The coils are unique though. I should cop before they disappear.
Ah, well, that's too bad. I find that hairstyle to be very insulting to African Americans in general. It's very reminiscent of "slave styles."Â
In honesty, as an AA parent, I can assure you that I would never take a child out in public with that hair style.
Truly, an AA toddler wouldn't have anywhere near that amount of hair for any of these styles anyway.
For authenticity, a dark colored skull cap would be much more appropriate.
If you have the DAZ figure Grace for V4, she comes with a skull cap which StephanieBT (the PA) provided a fit for K4. For a toddler, that would be perfect!
Â
Interesting thought. As an African American I can't say I find the hairstyle offensive in and of itself. I'm more offended by blacks with blond hair and aware that the straightening of black hair is itself more in line with a slave mentality that devalues our natural locks.
That said the coil is not really appropriate for a black toddler nor would cornrows, nor any kind of permed style (I'm talking 18-24 months or so). What I would prefer is a common plaited style with a couple puffs or braids and cute barrets like the second picture. Don't think I'll find them though so I'll have to make do. Maybe a skull cap with a little puff in the back. My 18mo daughter has a beautiful afro when its picked out but, like you, my wife would never take her out in public like that. lol
I'd love to see more of your work though, especially if you have any more child renderings.
peace (and hair grease).

Good looking out. I'd been all over the Daz site but hadn't seen that. Looks like my black hair collection will be growing (as my wallet is shrinking), lol. I also saw an afro style at RDNA. If I can adjust it for a single puff that might do. BTW, both these styles are made for older figures, I should be able to adjust them for kids, eh?
