I was just telling Renderosity that I didn't post a nude thumb the PC did.

Don't want to get in trouble soon as I get started.

I damn sure wasn't trying to start yet another nude thread.

Renderosity pays the rent here so that set the rules here.

There's sites like Renderotica post all the nudes ya want.

Thay still set rules thou, since thay pay the rent.

Ya could get ya own site, no rules at all other then the rules you make.

A3 don't have a scull cap

skull caps make a hard line across the forehead and looks bad anyways.

so I just put the hair on her scalp but

I keep seeing the scalp in the renders.

she's looking like here hair is real thin,like she's going balled or something.

What fixes our there for the scalp ?

Saving my pennies for Poser 7, V4.

Does V4 bend good for animations ?

Is it a pain to look for and figer out the morphs ?

Would be nice if all the meshes would bend correctly, easily for animations and all.

You all know there our 100,000's^1000 of renders out there with bad bends in them.

You all no Poser meshes bends could be improved greatly,to all our benefits.

So what's the point of arguing with me ?

How's this going to get us better bending joints ?

One mesh, V4, that has some morphs for bending is killer.

Really appreciate it.but I want more,I want I all.

TrueSpace is not considered a high end app.

Does not render landscapes like vue,bryce.

Does not have morphs for rigs.

Does not have a Poser plug.

Like Maya,Max,C4D have here.

$400 to upgrade from ts6 to ts7.

zBrush'er mostly load a sphere and use magnet like tools to manipulate the mesh to look like what ever,

mostly organic characters.

not for modeling car or mechanical things.

thay do have a very original system for modeling with out magnets.

I have not meshes with it much.don't care to model that way.

I learned to model in the main app Polygon modeling way,TrueSpace,Lightwave,C4D.

All polygon model the same way.

Rhino is a Spline modeler

C4D if ya keep all the mods upgraded you would spend $500 to $1000 a year.

3D is not cheep software / hardware upgrades takes some $$$.

As a general rule the recommendation goes.

Get all the app's demos one at a time see what clicks with you.

But it would take months to do this.

Moths to learn the app you finaly decide on

Months to get good at it.

Everyone climes the latter no so mater what app thay started in thay keep getting bigger and bader apps

So buy the time thay get to the $7000 apps thay have a collection of app's.

it go's LW to MAX to XSI or TS to C4D to XSI

XSI seems to be the finish line.

So lets shorten the list.

LW $900_has alot of tools and is very affordable.

it's not the fastest app to work in so if ya a pro pushed for time.

Modo $900_LW coders left LW started Modo.

it's a new app,looks promising.if thay keep there price down will be nice.

Promotes it's self as part of the production line.

XSI Foundation $600_so when you get to the $7000 version ya use to the UI,that I hate.

XSI Advanced has always been one of the ruling kings of 3D.

Don't see anyone knocking it off it's thrown ever.

Basic C4D $900_Love the UI,took them to C4D9 to have nGons don't know about that one.

Will not subdivide a Triangle most app's wount only XSI,LW will that i know of.

Very stable app, has really been rising in popularity,I would buy stock in C4D.

There is a big deference between Zbrush and C4D.

you can not put z,c4d in the same category.

2 totally deferent app's,that work totally deferent.

the only other app like Z that I no of is mud.

Z's $500

C4D basic $900

C4D Studios $3500

C4D'ers use Z as a plug.

Z's micro displacements for textures that actually make geometry,it razes the polycount up really high.but looks good.it's a form of hupernurbs.

iClones kool,

I understand 3D cards,openGL.and what it takes to get real-time renders

u can run iClones on a gforce2 card but some of the stuff don't work like shiny, transparent etc etc.

The bigger bader 3D card you have the more FX you have.

Machinima stuff might not have all the extra stuff HDRI can do.

But you can still get Machinima out of TrueSpace,iClone,C4D etc etc.

Is all I am saying.If ya want a quickie Real-time Machinima video then it's doable.

And no there no HDRI, but there fast.

If your Poser Renders our not perverted ,then you Art is not perverted.

You can not controal what others Render in Poser.

I've been a Artist for Decades used alot of deferent mediums.

More then once I've been accused of being evil,satanic,etc etc.

Since I am not religious it's all pointless.

I don't care who thinks what about my Art since I do my Art for me.

Do the Art you want to do.

Some will like it, some won't

Some will judge it, some won't

DAZ Sell Hexagon ? it's affordable

Modo was coded buy Lightwavers it's $700 $800 something like that

Maya's $2000 & $7000 just to make stuff for Poser is a bit of a over kill.

think the $7000 version has annual $1000 user fee also.

Adobe most popular app for painting.it's not cheep.

I currently use TrueSpace,LW,C4D,BodyPaint.

You can set C4D's UI to look just like LW,Maya etc etc if ya wanted.

LW,XSI our the only 2 app's I no off that will subdivide a Triangle.

I refuse to follow the rule only model with quads. 

3D modeling ,mapping texturing takes time to learn and time to do.

Takes the comminment of a marage, really helps to be insane ;)

Takes $$$ also.most the time we get app's to fit our budget.

If I had the $$$ I would have all the app's.
