Hi Folks! Lady Cherry, You might also take a look at Adobe After Effects (the latest version is 4.1). I find it handles placing and manipulating still images and audio a bit more fluidly than its brother Premiere, which I tend to use more for simply splicing movies together. After Effects also allows you to create special effects to your movies using Photoshop filters and layers, although I think the latest version of Premiere now allows you to use Photoshop filters and plug-ins. If you're willing to do a little bit of digging--and if you're using a Mac--there's a neat little program that provided some decent movie and sound editing features at a fraction of the cost and RAM requirements of Premiere and Avid Cinema. It's called QuickFlix! and was made by the old Radius Co. My version still runs pretty well, even on OS 8.5; check out some of online boards or do a QuickFlix keyword search and maybe you can locate a copy. Hope this helps. Peter (Dr. Zik)

Thread: From Bike Shorts to Garter Belt... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Folks! Nice work, Marc! Now that you mention it, perhaps I can now post a question about transp maps. I used P4's transparency maps feature and Photoshop to create a transp map for a woman's briefs [I would say "panties" but there's children watching :-) ] using the biker shorts as the template. It works fine at first, but if I try to adjust the model to another post I get an error message--something about "texture map cannot be found or read." The end result is that any subsequent renders will only display the default bike shorts--the transp map will not render any more. In some cases, the female woman texture--default or custom--is disabled as well, and the figure will take on the texture of the bike shorts. I suspect it might be a memory issue (I can only allocate 60mb to P4 until I add more RAM), but I wonder if you are anyone else has encountered this as a bug. Peter (Dr Zik)
