i'm with you in that dreamer (...cheaper than buying 2 suites) it should make it easier to pitch to management instead of going to them @ every upgrade! i hope they make "lite" versions of the less popular ones rather than let the apps die a slow and painful death (like PageMaker) i for one like FireWorks for quick and dirty navigation pieces instead of launching PS or ImageReady. :) retrocity

it's that "darn" screen-cap!!! i can't understand a thing!!!! ;) but i do know this, Adjustment Layers ARE the way to go! anytime you need to experiment, the non-destructive method of adjustment layers is the way to go!!! :) retrocity
Thread: Adobe Photoshop CS2 | Forum: Photoshop
There's a few new functions that have me interested, i just hate the frequency the series of upgrades are taking. at $150-ish to stay current it's getting more and more expensive...

Thread: Poser models | Forum: Photoshop
Well i'm not sure copyright issues would arise if the person willing is supplying you a "nakid" figure. Otherwise Poser would be worthless in the "professional" and "commercial" fields. i've seen Poser figures used in newspaper illustrations all the time. it's not like you are taking someone rendered "scene" and modifying it or taking someones "texture" and tweaking it to post as your own for resale. if you want you can post the "copyright" concern in the Copyright forum after you find someone willing to make you some figure. to be on the safe side, ask for the standard "default" figures that come with Poser... hope it works out for you. :) retrocity

lamb, you might want to see if someone (that has Poser and is willing to render) will make you some figures. See if they'd be willing to do a set based on some sketches you'd supply. i'd do it but i don't have Poser (very limited in the 3D department - more of a PS geek) doesn't really seem like an unduly request... but then, what do i know ;) hope someone's willing :) retrocity

Thread: Ok, I HAVE to ask.... | Forum: Photoshop
...as do i (whenever i have the time to actually post something ;))
i think it would be a "nightmare" to try and determine what images "fit" the profile of a Photoshop gallery and what would need to be moved to a more appropriate gallery...

Thread: Twain Driver Needed | Forum: Photoshop
Joe does this cam use a Memory Stick or Compact Flash card or is the memory "built in"?? if it uses a card, you could grap a cheap card reader and it'll mount just like another drive... i'll look aroung Adobe and see if the "RAW" plugin supports your cam... BRB, :) scott
Thread: Stupid question | Forum: Photoshop
quickest way... Save for Web (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S)
...for thumbnail, i set my "Crop" tool for the size (between 50 x 50 and 200 x 200 pixels) and crop the image to something interesting. Then do the same Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S)
:)
