Sandoppe, Sticky one there... Yes, I designed Don, Judy, Will and Penny originally - or as we called them, Alex, Adrienne, Adam and Alison. I brought some of my own crew into that project and we created some terrific figures. However, we weren't the only members of the team. We did the initial design and modeling but these had to change radically to suit the restrictions imposed by the face room. The morphs, textures, and Judy's face and final design were done by a different team. I had artistic control of the original design - the rest was out of my hands. Don't blame the other team though, they did a great job considering how little time they had to do it in. They really flew along. In a perfect world, we would all have as much time as we needed to do the job right. Poser 5 was a panic from day 1. BTW, My Judy was designed to look like a Frazzetta girl. And before anyone asks - no I can't show you - I had to destroy all of my files when P5 went to gold master. I'm going to be out of town all weekend so don't take my silence for ignoring you. I'll visit again on Monday. Bye for now! Chris

Tygercub, Fear not - all of our animals are anotomically correct - right down to the muscle structure - if we have the anatomy reference (which is hard to come by for certain animals.) Not only will they look correct, they will move and animate correctly. We are spending a lot of time trying to figure out solutions to difficult problems that arrise due to the way Poser handles bending - for example, the way a lions shoulder blades move when walking. I'm going to be out of town all weekend so don't take my silence for ignoring you. I'll visit again on Monday. Bye for now! Chris

Hi everyone, The tax issue is a little complicated. Yes we are in Ireland but technically, we are selling our products from the USA because the files are hosted by RegNow - an American company. They are also the holders of the merchant account. I'm not sure what state they are in but certain US orders will automatically have tax added to them - it's out of our hands. We have no ciontrol over the merchant account - just the price. As for the expression problem - that's a P5 issue that I've seen before - I will correct it and upload a new version. I will e-mail new expression pz2 files to anyone that has already downloaded the P5 version. Chris

Yes, we plan on doing LOTS of different animals. However, we planned on first offering new versions of the Poser 4 animals since these were meant to be updated for Poser 5. Curious Labs told people that they were coming but they were never built in the end. This disappointed a lot of people. We decided to create the animals that should have been in Poser 5 but we are free to do however we like, so we are! After that, we will create a menagerie of other animals!

My God, you people are fast artists!!! I can't believe the renders you have created already! LMAO at the Minotaur one! The Cabbage Patch render looks like a totally different baby! Did you find the shaping morphs easy enough to use? Please don't forget to tell us what you think about using the babies. Any comments about what you like and don't like about using them will help us with our other products and with updates to the babies.

PapaBlueMarlin, The face room is for adding pre-made adult faces in different combinations to the default Poser 5 heads. The head needs to have a special marker in the code for the face room to recognise it. Also, there has to be a special polygon marker in the centre of the eyes for the face room to know where to shift the eyeballs in relation to the new head shape. In addition (and most importantly) the head mesh MUST be the Poser 5 head mesh - ours is not, it's an original mesh. So.. if your goal was to put adult heads on the babies, I'm afraid your out of luck... However, they should be slicker than snot with the face putty tool!!!! The face putty tool works with existing morphs on the model and allows you to shape the face manually. The more high quality morphs a model has, the better your control with the face putty. The Cubed Babies have over 300 facial morphs!!!

See- here's our dilemma... It's the same problem we faced when deciding the spec for the Poser 5 default figures. On the one hand, we know that we can create a far superior model than any currently on the market but it needs to be a radically different design and setup than the previous versions. That would please people greatly. However, as freyfaxi pointed out - many people have invested in the previous models and want to protect their investment. With the Poser 5 figures, we tried to go halfway. We created the mesh and joints in a way that would function better than what was available but made them compatible with the Millennium figures joints (to a point...) and made the UV's compatible with them as well so Michael and Victoria textures could be used on them. All of this was more work than I feel it was worth. My gut instinct is to create all new figures that work as perfectly as possible and people will just have to buy new textures or adapt their own to suit our models. This way, we don't have to compromise our quality for the sake of being backwards compatible. Also, considering the fact that you have all been very vocal about the horse, I will move it up the list. Chris

Hmmm.. sounds very "Anne Geddes" to me. Hey! That might not be a bad idea for clothing packs! Cute Anne Geddes style costumes! Er... maybe later....

No one would buy a dolphin for that amount of money unless they had a specific use for it. Most people would buy a horse for that price (well, a Poser horse... a real one would be a tad more expensive...) but I think we will keep the price on all of the animals low to encourage everyone to buy them all. Yes dolfijntes, your Dutch bank account should be no problem. We are in Ireland but the merchant that handles our payments is RegNow in the US. However, they accept a very wide variety of payments. Sorry guys, no preview of the lion until we have a complete mesh ready for public viewing. It's in the early stages of revision at the moment but trust me - it actually looks like a lion! :')

BTW, we had planned on introducing the horses a little later because there are already a few horses on the market. There are no other lions, however. Once people realise that our products are of the highest quality, we will release the horse and even people that own another horse will want one because they know that it will be the best horse on the market. We need to build that reputation first.
