Eon's been that way ever since their so called professional & infinite line came out years ago.  E-on has bugs that are 10 years old that are never fixed in any update or upgrade.  The Maintenance Scam was biggest kick in the face that I've seen in years by a software company. 

We've done weekend renders and 3 day renders in my studio.  The best thing I've done is to buy a intel i7 2700k.  It's the lowest price computer I've ever built (under $1500) and it's overclocked by 30%.  A render farm with these 2700k would rule the roost in terms of power and money efficiency.  The OC ability on these chips is FANTASTIC!

BTW a render measured in minutes is not  a long time, so it I deduce you have a fast computer.  Surrender to the render and have a cup of coffee you're doing fine.

Yeah, but when Vue updates and then cornucopia updates its products, the 3d content from cornucopia does not work in older versions of vue.  It is a big PITA sorting out what will and won't work or what updated tree is causing the vue crash!  I'd rather buy poser content any day then buy from eon cornucopia with their lame licensing and over priced incremental updates.  I have bought trees that crash vue now because I updated the trees and not vue and the trees don't even look good and have texture bugs.

1920X1080 is an HD standard so I wouldn't do anything less save for special instances.

Please, Vue has been a rip off since Vue Professional version 6. The truth is known to hurt.

Check the pricing history bug list ratio if you don't believe.  Do the math and stop fixating on me.  I'm not responsible for Vue development.  How anyone sees or misunderstands me does not make who I am.  You're smarted than that.  Please, stop with the profanity directed at me because you secretly and subconsciously know I am right.  That is why you get so annoyed by me.  :)

I'm waiting for Vue 12 or 15 to make up for the extreme pricing for marginal buggy updates. 

With the economy I'm surprised they are not completely under.   It was a card house from the outset.  E-on got so greedy after Vue 6 that their comeuppance has to be near.

Just wait for Vue 12 and make art with what you have now.  Your money would be better spent on so many other things besides Vue.

I love starting as a prisoner.  It reminds me of Steinbeck novel, Grapes of Wrath.  I hope they bring back the Fly/Levitate spell.  This and the Witcher are some of the best games to look forward too. 

The download on the Bethesda Blog for Daggerfall is dead. I started with Morrowind but heard Daggerfall was the best in the series.

Fallout 3 New Vegas is good game but the storyline was bland making it hard to play a second time.  Still debating wether to sell it or play again.

It crashes on the ps3 too.  I thought the Elder Scrolls was over with Oblivion but this is the best news of the day.  Yay!

e-on is a bunch of crooks.  Their bought plants become unuseable when upgraded in vue versions that are no longer unsupported.  Thats enough for me to call it quits forever and just stay with version 6 with the plants that work with that versions.  Soon render engines will exist that put vue to shame so the money for new vues is just wasted.  The future with 3d & holograms is here and coming soon.  The era of vue software is over for good.  This is the end of the end. A new beginning will begin...
