So as Keith already said be smart and choiche a populair UF style with mapping work and cool textures Have seen all the calenders and it is indeed a very similiar style but really fine work and yes a lot of the same names have seen that also LOL However as you not play the game you can not win it Succes to all that upload a picture for me are the rules and final big size from 4200*4200pixels in tiff format to high :-) Cheers Arend

Rykk you where present on a big graphic show with your fractals (Art) I have read your story after the show and also your reaction and how much you have sell there And my friend you are one of the best here ?? So i think personal that there is not really interrest and i think also that people not see it as ART Hope that i am wrong but its the way i see it !! But is that really important ?? For me its a form of relaxation and i sell all more then 6 years some of my work Not big money, but enough for give just that extra for buy a new computer my internet provider etc etc I am very happy with that, but see me self not as artist but only as a guy that has much patience and maybe a good eye for details and colors But without all the great software on my harddisk i think not that there come,s much art:-) out my hands However its a fascinating trip to read this all here and cool that the most folks feel her self as a real artist That,s good for the self-confidence LOL Have a great time Cheers Arend

My opinion about is Apophysis art ? Art is starting from a clean window or basic matrial example clay or oil-paint and construct any thing by your self with your own hands or pencils or anything another tools you want to use I have seen random Apo renders that are so nice that i thought the writer has to make this program TO perfect :-) I like flames very much and i like also creating another fractal stuff but see that not as really art more playing with some cool parameter stuff what another folks has write and sometime with a very nice end result That there always are people that does this better then a another one is most a question of patience and yes a good eye for details, perspective and coloruse But from my out you may call this art no problem it all with that :-)) Cheers Arend

You can split it in 2 sections 1. A group for what i call real one layerwork without postwork on another words so naturel as is possible 2. a group that we call Fractal art and where anything is possible in mappingwork layerwork and postproccesing but no adding objects 3 for the rest you have the Mixed Media group That ,s my idea about this question Cheers Arend

The problem in UF is using multi layers and the learning process of that in combination of using mask layers That process make,s it a difficult to understand program that need a long time of practise Without using this layers it is not more complex then each another fractal program in my idea But the succes story from the UF folks is using this multi layer tool :-) Tresamie her advice is a real goodone but you need indeed a special mailbox with all that fanatic UF folk on that list LOL My advice is ask a few friendly UF members for some parfiles in the style that you like to create and look good how it works Much succes Arend

William the old version is indeed more stabile but has not inside the special 3d color routine,s As you not use the JT (Jo Trotsky) par files then it works also good as the earlier version Not all the JT parameters gives problems but a lot does not work correct and gives a crass Some people close the program then and make a re start but i have found a simple manner to go more quickly further Hint for as you have a crass click twice with the mouse on the Red render button so that it is not more active (grey) and click on the undo arrow and you can go further Sorry for my terrible English but i hope that you have some help with this tip Cheers Arend
