Thats just the way it goes sometimes - there's no magic formula for getting comments it just depends who looks at your image. I'm sure there are many people who never say anything. Think of it this way - you shared your image with 625 people (I went and checked hehe), whether they say something or not you know they looked at it so be happy :)
Thread: Question about deleting parts of the body... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Go to the setup room and create two new groups. Doesn't matter what they're called as long as they're not associated with a bone (say 'lefteye2' and 'righteye2' for simplicity)
Add the original 'righteye' and 'lefteye' to these groups respectively using the 'add group' button.
Now delete the original right and left eye groups but keep the ones you just created (left2 and right2)
Now when you return to the pose room you will get a warning telling you some polys are not associataed with a bone - this is a good thing in this case. If you go to 'props' you will see something like 'figure_1 setup' This contains polygons which are not associated with a bone (i.e. the eyes in this) so when you delete this prop - voila - you delete the eyes :) Above is a pic just to prove it.
The above can be useful in other situations if you use your imagination :)

Thread: YAPQAP6 (Yet Another Pre-Question About P6) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
'That said, has anyone ever seen a company put their main software product up for sale (even if for pre-ordering) without telling what it really does? Without a "What's New" list?' Games companies do it all the time, quite succesfully. They hint what new features will be available during a long buildup to a games release (which you can preorder if you like) and then all the features are disclosed in a review just before or after the actual release. It's how you generate excitement in something. If a game is a sequel then fans will preorder before any info is disclosed based simply on the pedagree of the previous game - same thing with poser. I love P5 (on the whole), the new features which have been discloased thus far for P6 look like things I would use, it's inevitable I'm going to buy it at some point anyway so I might as well get it in special packaging with a load of free stuff on preorder :P I don't for one minute think you or anyone else here has suggested this but noone has forced me to buy it, if it arrives and it sucks then thats my own fault - it's the risk you take :)

Thread: Advertising in Poser gallery | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
'Starkdog - No, it's not the "SuicideGirlz" pics although they propably are borderline commercial posts too IMO.' Hey thats my pic ^_^ The focus of the thread seems to be on another image (phew) but I just want to clear this up regarding mine......I didn't intend it to be an ad but a bit of fun. I did consider putting it in the preview gallery but decided against it as it's not mine to advertise. Christine is just asking y'all if your hard enough - perhaps the play on words was lost on you? Heck, the character pack isn't even out yet and given peoples average memory span it wouldn't make much sense for me to advertise something when I don't even know when it's going to be released. A friend kindly sent me the pack to play with as I've been smitten with her since I saw she was in development. If it's the preamble you object too check out the rest of my gallery - I always try to let my friends around here know what I'm doing and how I'm doing it and it's only polite to thank my friend for letting me have her for free after all the hard work he put in. As Starkdog kindly pointed out, I credit EVERYTHING I use - even the stuff thats not out yet. Given all the above if a mod feels it's in the wrong gallery I'll move it, I intended it as a pinup and I think it's a pretty good one. (Just go to my gallery and look for 'Girrrrrrlz' - I won't provide a direct link just incase it could be misconstrued as advertising ;D )
Thread: Is there a way to make unopenable doors open? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I find it's easiest to use in 'hidden line' mode as you don't have to worry about selecting poly's behind something by accident and one's you have selected show up v clearly. If there are lots of small polys then it can become v frustrating v fast lol It's not the best tool in the world but it can usually cope with making holes in things :P

Thanks for the compliment :) And i'm glad the pic helped. In answer to your question I haven't done any tutorials - I do read quite a few though lol Maybe I'll try my hand at a few if I get time :P Good luck with your project ^_^

Thread: Anyone else still having P6 Pre-order Problems | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I managed to get mine ok this morning (UK time) I did just get a reply to my original tech support email to them though saying they didn't expect all the problems to be resolved until tomorrow sometime and they would be posting an announcement on the website about it...

That also happened to me when I tried to select UPS rather and royalmail or express overnight delivery - have you tried selecting an alternate delivery method? i settled for Express overnight :) Robo2010: At the payment stage there are links to click at the bottom of the page concerning payment methods other than cc - i cant remeber exactly what they are but they are definately there - good luck :)
Thread: P6..and purchasing..One loyal customer view. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Personally I'm supprised at just how inexpensive the upgrade is (especially with all the free stuff) Living in the UK i'm use to having to pay over-and-above my friends in the US for the same stuff but on this occasion (before VAT at least) the prices are v nearly inline with exchange rates (its about 14% more expensive in the UK) Not too bad compared to other things.

Lillybelles - see this thread:Thread: How do you get the P6 upgrade for $89? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Does that mean we need to send proof of purchase for the upgrade price as well or just if we're eligable for the voucher?

Thanks for the tip but I've tried it over and over for the past 6 hours - pretty sure I typed it in some of the time :D Apparently it is a localisation problem.
