It does sound like you got it all figured out now, but here's a link to a tutorial just in case!
Thread: To Bot or not to Bot ........... is that the question? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've noticed ebots have been going wonky these last couple of days as well. I'll get several notifying me that someone has left a comment on an image, but the comment is not there. Or there will be comments from people that I did not get an ebot about... it seems odd.
I have a gmail account, so being flooded with ebots isn't a problem, as it groups them all into one mail, but otherwise I can see why that would be annoying.

I'm not sure if it's goth enough though :P
Thread: Rendering Weirdness... Please Help | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've never had this problem (except for when placing the camera inside a wall or other object, as you already encountered).
It's not that it's beneath addressing, I just don't know the answer (but I'm somewhat of a novice myself)Â :)

Moving those files around can be very confusing, lol.
Thread: Constructive criticism.. do you do it? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think I understand a bit better now and I'll definitely not offer CC unless the artist specifically asks for it.
Even if most people have the "both critical and non-critical comments are welcome" tag on, I suppose that's just because it's on by default and not because they really want critical comments.
Thanks for all the input!

Thread: wip...fantasy helmet | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It looks quite good!
I think a personal preference for me would be to "meld" those attachments on the sides and top of the helmet into the actual helmet, so it looks like it was made from one piece of metal and not like they were glued on... I hope you know what I mean, lol.
I haven't tried my hand at any modelling myself though, so I'm not sure if that makes it a lot more complicated.
Another idea could be to make the sides into loose hanging chainmail or maybe just overlapping plates to break up the monotony of a single helmet piece. It depends what kind of helmet you're trying to create though, if it's a sci-fi helmet then that idea would be bad.
It does have kind of a 70's Flash Gordon look to it hehe, very promising :)
