You want me to post the obj file the way it currently exists? I'll do a detailed outline when I have more time. I've been pretty busy getting my website and RPG going.

Glad you liked it. Right now the obj file has 10656 polys, and weighs in at exactly 600KB. I tried adding it to my library to make a PP2 & RSR out of it, but poser has different idea in mind. Whenever I get my REAL computer out of the shop I'll package it in a PP2 for easy installation, cause on this loaner computer it has WinME... Unless if you want the obj file anyway, but what good will that be. I'll post here when I get it uploaded in freestuff, but it may be about a week or so.

Do you get "runtime/blah/blah/blah.obj not found" then an error that states "YOU ARE OUT OF MEMORY"? then it removes your previous used figure from the workspace. If so its probably a screwed up obj file, and poser isn't intelligent enough to figure that out... Hopefully CL wil fix it in Poser5. It happens to all of us most likely.

I agree with lalverson on this subject. I'm in fact a GM for a RP'ing game I created and I had this same problem with women (had to detail about 43 female characters). When I read your post I started thinking... Most of the stuff was already mentioned. Maybe her little brother or sister drew something on her shield? Or maybe a necklace she got from her mom when she died, perhaps her reasoning to become a warrior to avenge her mom's death? How bout her boyfriend's engagement ring? Just some suggestions? It will take alot of feminine stuff to balance the arsenal she has... :) BTW: I cant wait to see this finished!

I don't know anything about PPP, but I've noticed Poser performs better using just raw CPU power. I've conducted an in-house benchmark using Poser4 with Vicky2 I've run Poser on a 266, 500, 700 and 1.2 all with 64 MB and the 1.2 Gig outperformed the 266, 500, 700, & 733. The loading time increases about an average of 8 seconds with each processor speed. It took the 500 about 52 seconds to load. on the 1.2 it took a mere 14 seconds. Also to my knowlege of Poser, poser doesnt care what video board you have, I have also done tests on this, I don't think you'll get your money worth in poser if you buy that GeForce2 or 3... 500MHz with 3dfx Voodoo3 AGP /w 16 MB and a WD 512KB ISA had the same speep performance in poser. Win98 SE was the OS, used in the tests. My conclusion testing RAM vs CPU in poser. Go for the CPU speed. I agree that that even a 200MHz upgrade is good. Running poser on a 700 is a lot better then running on a 500. Heck since ram is dirt cheap while you upgrade your processer buy a few hundred megs to go with it... I had emaild DAZ about 3 or 4 weeks ago about the release of Mike2 and they said "In about 2 months." I'm guessing the week of November 18 they will release Mike2, maybe...

Here goes another... I agree with many of you, especially Traveler about remebering folders! I'd love to see a Raytracer. 1. An option for compressing your PZ3 files. 2. Larger import/ export selection. 3. Cleaner program directory (less sub-folders in sub-folders, in sub-folders, etc.) 4. Ability to render transparencies for RSR's. 5. Less picky interface. 6. Dual processor support. 7. Network rendering. 8. Simple CR2 editor for beginners. 9. The "Treemaker" feature already in poser to be more deveolped for facial hair. (For newbies, open Poser and type "hair" without the quotes.) 10. More basic models including props... 11. Infinity plane for the ground. Thats all now, most others have already been listed above.

holy sh*t. you're right! Maybe they put it in there to allow you to add hair to your models... Here goes an odd little feature to work with now. Who knows, this may become the "Hair Lab" someday, something to add to the Poser 5 wish list...

I know when Mike 2 is coming out!!!!!!!! I emailed DAZ and asked about him and they said, he'll be released in about 2 months!!!!!
