Excellent news Chuck, as I've not been happy with Area Renders for quite a while. We're in the process of fixing this right now. Improvements for Area render and the export button are in testing now.

I already have EZSkin 3.2, but GoPhysical is one I've never heard of before, though I'm familiar with most of Ken's scripts, even those I don't own.EZSkin is updated and is maintained on this site:
https://cobrablade.net/snarlygribbly/poser.html --you want EXSkin 3.2 for Poser 13; this is for skin conversion (and some hair)The other is GoPhysical:
https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/157575/go-physical-for-poser-12
(works for P13 as well as P12--this is for other materials)
There are others, but those two can make old content really good looking again.
I'm definitely going to have to check this out.

All too true, though I'm a huge fan of Andy Price, so have done the doughnut (and a cup of coffee to go with it) as well as other of his tutorials.Blender can be confusing at first, but nothing that making a donut can't solve :D
I have used several different modeling apps over the years, but the one thing that stays the same for me . . . I unwrap in Blender because I find it does the best job.

I sure hope they continue with this, no matter how long it takes. I downloaded everything before they closed the HW3D store, but it would still be so much better if everything was in my account here.

I say official because Jenn used to be responsible for way more than listed in the staff list, but yeah Shania's taking care of the Marketplace currently.A spammer probably posted a comment, bumping this thread to the top. Staff removed the spam comment, so we don't see it.
Interesting that Jenn Blake is no longer on the staff list. I guess RenaPD has taken her place? She recently closed her store, saying she was retiring.

I'm really liking the adventurer outfit too, and the pose in that last render is cute.

Niiiiiiiiiice! Those 50s outfits look great! After spending some time on poses, I'm also back to working on my first outfit for LF2. Here's a render of the latest version. Not too far from being ready for texturing, I think, and then off to FreeStuff.

Thread: Abstract Blender Animation W/ Geo Nodes | Forum: Blender
Miss B posted at 6:33 PM Mon, 23 October 2023 - #4476715Hey Lux . . . good to see you too, and no rush needed, but if you ever get around to playing with Geo Nodes, and can come up with a tutorial, I'm all game for playing with it.Thanks, Miss B. Always good to hear from you. I don't think I'll be making any tuts on geometry node stuff any time soon. I'm just not knowledgeable enough about them yet to confidently put out a tut that is anywhere near what other people are showing us now. Plus things are changing so fast, each version of Blender seems to have new nodes or changes to current ones. It's a never-ending battle to keep up with it all.WOW Lux, what more can I say? I always like your tutorials . . . so . . . are you going to give us one like this?

Thread: Light Source Showing in Render? | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
I've seen comments on another forum I visit regularly that raising the Roughness value to either .1 or .01 will do what you want. The comments were in a Blender thread (they deal with gaming so no Poser on that site) and It seems that Roughness is the way to get rid of it being visible in a render.
I don't recall if I've played with it much, and don't know off-hand if there's another setting (or two) that may help in that regard, but nodes are nodes and probably work pretty much the same in both software packs.

Considering how much you've accomplished, I'd said a little over 6 days isn't at all bad. Of course, I'm sure that wasn't straight through 6+ days with no sleep.

Thread: LaFemme 2 Clothing Fit from LF1? | Forum: Poser 13
I'm with you on this Rhia, as I have a ton of conforming clothing for LF1, and would love to see quite a few of them on LF2 as well. ~nods~While I adore the new LF2 and the included fits for hairpieces helped greatly, a LF1 conforming clothing conversion tutorial or script is sorely needed. Thank you, if possible, for prioritizing this for those already having a sizeable LF1 clothing library.
