I loaded the set and did a test render and got the same issue as you did in the first post. I unchecked Cast Shadows and the problem with lines went away.

For the first post I was having problems with Firefly and textures and text looking blured in renders. On another forum someone said the Minimum Shading Rate needs to be set to .20.
This solved my problem. Not sure if it will help but worth a try. You can click Manual Settings and set it, or if using Auto Setting just set the slider to Final. For the P4 Render try checking Anti Alias.
