and then..... do you have a post stamp to reapply to the new seal? and why would the owner of the copyright want to open the envelope anyway? I think it's all coming back to me why I quit coming here, laterz....

Heres a tip on copyrights. Its free and easy. Print all your thumbs together, call each page gallery1, gallery2 etc. Place the pages in a large manilla envelope. Seal the envelope, take it to the post office. Have them put a label across the seal and post mark it. Mail it to yourself and never open it. If an issue arises and you need to prove your ownership, have a judge open the envelope. ONLY A JUDGE OR APPOINTED REPRESENTATIVE CAN OPEN THE ENVELOPE!!!!! This form of copyright is legal and binding, however, if you plan to sell the work, transfer the copyright, or have it published, you must do the full registration. You can still use the thumbs. The forms are free from the library of congress and each "Artistic Collection" costs $20 US to register. An "artistic collection" simple means whatever you call a collection, it can have as many images as you like.

Hmm, no I dont know a better way. I dont know anyway except through the 4 armed guy for image textures. Are you adding it to your library after you tweak it?

Thip, you said "Create a few spheres, and give each one of the textures you made a note of." Whats that part for? Just to get the textures in there?

ya know...you could always edit the tiff in photoshop too. Ive made some serious lips like that :)Just dont move anything when editing the tiff. Also, maybe I imagined it, but it seemed once the tiff was open and re-saved in PS, it looked way better once brought to bryce, even where I didnt edit it. Also jackson. i turn the diffusion all the way up on the models texture. it loads into bryce with very low diffusion. That might be why yours look so gray.

Hey PJF, perhaps you're correct. I just did it and notice no diff. I've been habitually smoothing them all this time. But I remember the reason I tried it was a model had striped polys down her leg and after smoothing, they were gone. Maybe I did a 3ds import??? who knows, but im glad you pointed that out, it takes a while to smooth the entire model.

PJF Wrote: "Whenever I import a Poser figure (OBJ format) into Bryce it is smooth by default." Bryce will smooth it more.
