Love the effect, thanks for posting them, I did not realize these shaders were avaiable as a poser plugin.
Great work!

Thread: Any ways to interactively view an animation on the web? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm not familiar with the 3d web exporter, but I just re-read your post and you seem to also want an "auto-play" option, which you would be able to do with flash. Thought it seems that 3d web exporter supports that feature.
So in the end it sounds what you are really looking for is an app that lets you scroll through animations, where the models pieces are moving as you drag forward or backwards, but also the ability to look at the model through rotation.
I would definitely be interested in seeing your finished product if you find a way to combine those elements.

If your familiar with flash you could put something together using a few still images.
I found a utility that can help, but I'm sure there are a lot more.

If the drive was running when it fell, you may well have damaged it - possible head crash
Most drives are rated for some falls, but it would definitely be wise to back up your data anyways.

From Smith Micro's site

Network Render Queue
Rendering complicated 3D scenes into images and animations can consume lots of time, even on today’s most powerful computers. With Poser Pro, you can transform a network of computers into nodes within your Network Rendering Queue. With the included Queue Manager application, distribute rendering jobs between one or more nodes. Set the time and nodes you want to render on. Even if you only use Poser Pro on one computer, the Queue Manager is a powerful tool that will let you manage the rendering process - you choose when and where to render, whether that’s in the background while you’re working, overnight or whenever the machine is idle.
Queue Manager features:
From the Poser Pro documentation:
It is important to know that you can install the Queue Manager on as many systems as you wish. However, the number of systems you can use simultaneously will be limited to the number of Queue Manager nodes that are included with your Poser Pro Purchase. You can determine how many nodes are available to you by looking at your Queue Manager serial number. The second set of numbers between dashes indicates how many systems (including the one on which Poser Pro is installed) can operate the Queue Manager simultaneously.
For whats its worth, my second set of numbers is way more than I could ever get close to using (9999).
Thanks!

Your best option would be to contact kuroyume0161, his contact information is on his website here:
http://www.kuroyumes-developmentzone.com/contact.html
Things you may want to look at a few things before you contact him, just to give him as much information as you can.
Does it happen with just the new Poser 8 characters? In other words can you load one of the older figures into a scene and bring it into Cinema.
What about other objects, props, hair, etc. Can those be loaded into a scene and imported into Cinema fine.

There is a note on Daz installers here
http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=77881&sid=d45140af54ce0f8865de4cc411bf67a7
Did you go through and try some of the suggestions there?
Off the top of my head I would try right clicking the installer and running as administrator.
