Yeah...the manual that tells absolutely nothing about what you want to know about. I've read it...many times...and I've walked away with a splitting headache and no useful information. LOL. But, I did create a texture and got it loaded into Poser...except Poser won't render the image. Hmm...

Okay, I have the texture created and saved as a JPG file. Now...how do I find it in Poser so that I can use it?

But the problem is, is there any way to make conforming clothing dynamic? Not that I see, and most of the really cool stuff I have is conforming only. =/

Yeah, I did see that in your first post, Acadia--I guess I just didn't fully grasp it because I still thought it could be done. LOL. Oh, well.

All right, every thing I have looked at to show me how to make a dress look properly when a figure is sitting always talks about the dresses as "props" but not as "figures". Does anyone know where I can get info on how to get a dress to work properly with a sitting position so that the dress doesn't look like it's hovering or flying when it should be resting? It has to be able to be done!
Thread: Creating 2nd Skins | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wow, 2nd Skin sounds like a really great program...other than the fact I own an iMac and 2nd Skin is Windos...Vista. =/ I will never use Windows again. Not seeing any of the billion error messages daily is so wonderful. But, yeah, I know that a Mac has it's flaws, but they're like 1 compared to Windows billions. I guess I'll have to find a good tutorial on how to use the Materials room since it seems I can use that for the same effect. Thanks for the info and any other forthcoming you all might have. :)

Yeah...I just found the seamguides...I don't think I'll be messing with that. I'm not THAT artistic. LOL.

Well, I own Photoshop already, so if that's the best program, then great! I just didn't know about the seamguides. Thanks for the info everyone, but please keep giving advice if you have it. :) WildHunt

Thanks again! I'll have to take a look at everything when I get a free moment...which may be awhile. LOL. If anyone is interested, you can look at http://wildhunt.deviantart.com/ and see what all I have been able to accomplish, but it's very basic stuff and everything I have used I have bought. LOL. But I'd really be interested in opinions. Thanks so much for the info! WildHunt

Thank you so much for the links. The biggest problem I have with Poser in general is clothes, clothes, clothes! No matter how much people say "This outfit will work with every body type, blah, blah, blah" it never seems to work right for me--even in a basic standing position! I'll take a look at the links you provided and see if they can help me. No matter what, though, I'm sure there's stuff about Poser I'll NEVER understand. LOL. Thanks again!
