Instead one image per day we should have seven images per week.Many people do not just have time at every day to even open computer(like me). And many times some images are "connected" with same story,motive or anything else and they should be loaded at same time. Anyway I doubt we wil see significant speed increase. Lately several very good artists either quit this place or they post very seldom. Problem is that new very good artists not appear so quickly,then artistic quality of this site goes down. Anyway thanks Keith for Your images Wojtek..........................

Hello! Did anyone think about this whole story as a provocation from the start? What we have here? A person with just one image in her/his(I doubt Lisa Hammel is real name) gallery.We have no other information. And nickname:Fracktal freak.It is a statement. I would not be suprize if someone from this fractal community did it.Just for fun :).Maybe Deagol?Hello how about me??? :) We see in fractal community all kind of images,some excellent ,some not,but I do not remember any so negative comments about other images. I think problem with this images is that it should not be placed under fractal gallery.It has more Poser,or mixed medium or 2D look. Why that tread was locked?!This is censorship,but it favor some persons(who could post) and disadvantege others(who could not post).I have read long text by MiDayCrisis,but I do not know if aartika did not want to respond or maybe She could not,because tread was locked. Hello! Jocks and MidDayCrisis-You both added some thoughts,I overlooked. Yes sometimes thumbnails look better then images :)and yes-fames are the most popular,probably because these images are also popular "outside"of fractal world.I look not only at fractals,but also other graphic like 2D and photography. Some people have family,friends or coworkers,who know about Renderosity.For now I keep my postings "top secret",because I wanted to see how "Strangers" like my images:),well except my wife nobody knows about it. But sometimes I feel that we all like small circle without any connection to world.I wish fractals were more popular and this site visited by more people,not necessary users only. MidDayCrisis-I think You hit the right string,when You wrote about "distribiution and balance".I struggle with it on "Chello..." 2 days,because it was even worse then now:),but I like colors and spiral looks like beast of prey :) Yes people look at image from technical point of view,because most of them(included me)make fractals too. That is why my dream is to bring more outsiders,who will see just images,not fractal images :) Greetings..........Wojtek...

Hello! This is what I posted on UF List on 11-04-02 We should ask ourself this question: what do we use UF(or any other fractal program) for? Do we want to create 'Fractals" or do we want to create "Art" ? For me the best images are those ,which do not look like fractals.I do not want to hear from somebody...wow this is beautiful fractal.I want to hear ...wow this is beautiful image. If I would create let say a elephant in UF I did not want to hear nice comment about it because it is very hard to create it in UF :) I want to hear nice comment,because that elephant is same great or greater like one made in Photoshop or painted on canvas. We have to remember that UF is like any other electronic medium,that help to creat an art. Of course each of them has specific characters and it is easier to make a elephant in Photoshop,but much harder to create a fractal looking image. And mathematic and fractals algorithms are also in Photoshop,and Bryce,and all electronic artistic medias. We have problem with math at UF,because it is so visual on surface,but I think it is possible to hide it(at least to change some math terms to more friendly names) Another topic was:is it fair to transform UF fractal within other program. Well,what is the diference when I use UF plug-ins(tranformations and to some degree coloring alghoritms),and when I use plug ins in Photoshop.What is the differance when I use twist tranformation,or when I use twist plug-in from PS. It is much easier and with more options to make a frame in PS then in UF. Of course it is not fair when I would post heavy transformed fractal image in fractal gallery,without describtion that it is impossible to make it in UF only and what else was done.
