It is my understanding that Studio considers the default Perspective and Ortho views to be views, not cameras. That is why they don't show up in the scene list and don't have parameters.

mikeberg,
At this time, you cannot export anything out of Studio. It only saves in the native .daz format.
Hopefully, in the future, there will be options for export. The menu command exists but is greyed out in this version.
Thread: Poser 4 and processor usage. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, I was concerned because I've just noticed it. I thought maybe something had gotten corrupted in the software. The reinstall didn't help though so I got worried.
Before posting I tried searching the forum to see if anyone else had run into the same thing.
I'm a little surprised that the question hasn't come up before if this is the 'normal' function.

thgeisel, thanks for the response.
I guess I never noticed it before on the old computer because it didn't have a fan on the processor?
The only reason I noticed it this time is because the fan revved up so much.
If it does that on all machines, I guess I won't worry about the processor.
At least with Bryce, when the processor usage jumps something is going on.
Too bad Poser 5 doesn't fix it. I'm running out of reasons to upgrade.

Thread: B Lightening for animation only? | Forum: Bryce
Yes. What it does is break up the picture into 100x100 pixel sections and each machine renders one of those sections and then grabs the next available section when it is done. When everything is done it opens your default bmp viewer and displays the picture.
A couple of things to remember:
The network render doesn't work with Render to Disk so you are limited the the default dpi.
It closes out the BR5 file before it starts to render so save it if it asks you to (I learned that the hard way).
The bmp file won't automatically open with the br5 file unless you rename it the same as the br5 file.
Make sure you select Use Host to Render in the network configuration if you want the main computer to participate. It's not selected by default.

Try this. It works fine for me.
When you go to Render Animation, click on Output file to get the drop down and change it to BMP sequence. The default name will be something0000.bmp, then configure the network render. When it's done, you will have a single bmp file.
If you are using a Mac the preceding is probably irrelevant.
Thread: Anyone know anything about this problem.. | Forum: Bryce
Agentsmith,
Thanks. I got the impression from the web site that customer service doesn't do technical support. I'll keep it in mind for the future.
I was able to get it working anyway. I forgot to check the hard drive after uninstalling and, of course, there was still a Bryce5 folder. I removed that and did the reinstall again and patched it and it seems to be working fine now. All my settings are gone but its a good thing I didn't keep my br5 files in the Bryce directory.

Thread: Who would have liked something different for the Mystery Model | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I would have preferred seeing something for Michael (character, clothing, hair, etc.) rather than another female model. Free is free, though. It's not a big download, but I certainly wouldn't have bought it.
I am curious about this theory put forward by DAZ and a few people in this thread that the release of Stephanie will spur some kind of renaissance in development of things for Michael. I don't see the connection.

Umm, no. You walk up to the cashier and the price charged is $99.99 and tax. No hassles, no rebate forms, etc.
