I completely agree with TJohns comments about constructive critisism. The only problem is that some people dont take it too kindly. I remember the first ever post i made to a gallery picture and then the remarks i got back from the picture author (i cant remember who ;) ) who didnt like my comments at all, it took 3 messages to convince him i was just trying to help. Without critisism how can any of us improve ourselves.

Probable didnt explain myself properly. I knew the bryce setting was parametric what i need to know is which of the above settings within uvmapper do i have to perform on the .obj object to get it to create a uv map i can paint in photoshop then apply to object withing bryce.

One thing i still cant figure out is which type of mapping to use that will work in bryce. Ive made models in wings3d which wil export to .obj. Ive loaded that into uvmapper and ive no idea what type of map to make? Planar, Box ,Cylindrical, cylindrical cap or spherical, please help....please.......:-)

thanks for the tips guys. TMG i know what u mean if theyd have paid me they woulda got exclusive rights to the images :) Plus the images here arent the full versions theyll smaller versions for ease of posting. AND the designs ive done/doing for the merchandise wont be posted. As these are freely downloadable desktop wallpaper images i didnt think it would be a problem.

i agree with pauljs get anim8or (www.anim8or.com) and wings3d (www.wings3d.com)! Just for the text anim8or is the way to go, just type it change it to whatever font/size/style u want, extrude it and then save as a .3ds or whatever :) Takes me all of 30 secs :)
