My goodness what goes on in here! Why didn' t anybody tell me there were loads of fun to be had!
:b_grin:
Excellent work so far. I never saw a real symbol being photographed and yet all entries display the coincidence/resemblance to a character. Awesome challenge Shari!
Oh and auntie, don't hide behind that "too busy" excuse, we all have check books to balance. :tt2:
Our grandkid recently started saying "ek"... or was it "yuk"! LOL
Let me check what can be done. Next time you folks tell me where the fun is to be had, ok? I am off to see what I can capture for this lesson in the natural alphabet...

Worth adding to a list of favorites, it seems very organized and well worth checking.
Thanks Joe.

Thats very cool indeed and I must admit I the impact of the grouped together thumbs is immense.
Thread: "Photo Mechanic" program by Camera Bits | Forum: Photography
I will have to download to pass any judgment, thanks for the link Bruce.
I know among the free programs like IrfanView, I had some good experiences with:
PhotoScape - has a feature for RAW converters and David is familiar with this one. I found the menu system switching between functions to be a little clumsy.
Picasa - runs on Macs too.
I hope it does not add to any prevailing confusion, but it may be worth looking around while you do.
Lightroom is excellent of course but is hogging a computer and is expensive. I have just installed V2.3 in which case the Camerabits option compares favorably.
