in p1 the only import option was for a background pict image. you could export poser figures in dxf or rib formats. there were only 4 included props: ball, box, cane & stairs. other included figures were the stick figure, skeleton & mannequin.
p2 was a big step which allowed you to:
import dxf, 3dmf, obj, 3ds & detailer models, and background video
introduced improved models including the business, casual and child figures
added more hand morphs
introduced texture mapping (p1 did use bump maps, for musculature)
provided an animation palette.

i can't take credit for the script -- it's a shot-by-shot remake of the scene from the movie. but the birds were put in only after realizing i wouldn't be able to cut all their shots. although they were in mind from the beginning i didn't want to do the extra work, modeling & rigging an additional character and animating the crowd scenes, if i didn't have to. but i couldn't cut the last two bird (actually kids in the movie) shots without seriously editing the soundtrack. it just boiled down to what i could do faster -- include the birds or edit the kids from the soundtrack. you're probably happy the birds won.

that is a bugger. i'm on macs, but i have seen the thing run on a laptop running win98 & quicktime 5, as well as a desktop running winxp and quicktime 6. get some sleep & try again in the morning, maybe.

actually, us priority mail is available globally, but you'll probably have to wait a week instead of the two days it takes domestically.

you can also move the texture maps into the same folder or directory as the obj you're trying to import

generally speaking, yes. there should be a link on each of the sale pages ("see features") that describes the components of each package.

my previous message didn't reproduce my indenting correctly, but each eye entry will be indented to indicate its position as a child of the main body.

check the hierarchy editor to make sure the eyes are properly parented. you should see: main body eye1 eye2 if not, drag elements into proper order as shown above.
