Just browsing by to mention that an Octane plugin for Poser exists. I'm using it exclusively. Never got around to properly trying Superfly.

So, just out of curiosity... L'Homme? Any updates on that happening?
Yeah it is happening, just not sure exactly when yet. But yes, it's happening 8-)
Very glad to hear this. La Femme is great and all, but there's not enough males. I need a dude who doesn't look like Dusk (great as he is), and David3WM is showing his age.

The irony here is that Neanderthals actually had pretty weak chins compared to the strength of their brows.

I like her. She's very morphable; you can easily make her look unlike her default face. I love the HD morphs. It's fun playing with the expression chips. I can see her becoming one of my, if not THE, favorite female figure. (Now all that's needed is a male counterpart.)

Just browing past and adding my interest for the male. We have tons of weight-mapped females by now. I, for one, really wish for a weight-mapped equivalent of Apollo Maximus as far as versatility goes. (Tyler is awesome, but he always looks like Tyler. Same thing for Dusk.)

Bumping up this thread with another Apollo render in Octane. Mertail by OKCRandy, morph and pose is mine. Environment is DNA Microcosm, Poser Naturals, and Poser primitives with Octane shaders. An HDRI and an infinite light. All shaders adjusted for Octane.

@elena_c
You have a displacement map for Apollo Maximus? The arms look great with it!
Hi mackis3D, Thanks! Yes, the displacement map I'm using comes with Apollo; it's in the texture folder and is, I think, automatically loaded if you use the material room to load body maps. I haven't rendered in Poser for a while, though, so I'm not sure.

I did this one just now. Apollo is Face Room compatible, which affords a lot of freedom, even without any modelling software. Apollo with my character morph, AprilYSH Glyn hair, scene from Poserworld, Stock pose, adjusted a bit. All materials adjusted for Octane. Rendered in Octane.

Great renders, and great idea to upload freebies!
Here's one I did just now. Octane render, no postwork (I'd have smoothed out the transition from his skin to the hair transmap otherwise, but I wanted to be brutally honest). Epic mats on the vest he comes with. Old Koz hair. One light emitter, one HDRI. All materials adjusted for Octane.

Content Advisory! This message contains nudity
... And this. (It's an animated gif, dunno if it'll work on here. Nudity tagged for the eagle-eyed.)
My character, Rievel Hair, ARC reactor by me, rendered in Carrara.
