I'll try to answer your question the best I can... First of all , the textures are all tiles. The castle itself (outside of the moat and little props like the well) only uses 8 tiles. (Makes it real easy when you want to re-texture!) The biggest texture size for the castle, is the wall tile: 3000x3000, all the others are less than 700x700. (The moat also requires large textures, in the 2000x2000) The polycount for each part is relatively low. The highest count is for the drawbridge on the right in the picture above: 32k. The other parts average around 10k. The pictures above were all renedered in Poser Pro Pack in less than a minute. There is no such thing as a complete castle, really... You can make it as big or as small as you want. Just use the parts that are gonna be visible in your scene. Because all the parts use the same 8 texture tiles, the memory usage for the texture is about the same wether you load just one part or the whole set. So I would say, it's pretty light. I hope this answers your question.

There aren't any pre-assembled poses included. However, posing the castle is relatively easy. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble the castle above. Maybe someone will come up with a pack of ready-to-use castles... That would be a great idea!

From my experience (I don't sell at DAZ yet, so I'll leave this one out):
Renderosity: Most sales, even for older products.
Poserpros: Used to be almost on par with Renderosity, now pretty much idle. A couple sales on release, some good sales when there's a big store event like a "Buy one get one free" sale, otherwise, almost nothing.
3DCommune: Virtually no sales. If you ever decide to do none poser models, give Turbosquid a try. Very few sales, but at such a price, that you can make almost as much money as at Renderosity with less than half a dozen sales

Thanks everyone for the kind words. The price will be $30, but, for its release, it'll be 30% off (so $21 for a few days) Yes, Carolly, I know the Monitor isn't too pretty. In its time they used to call it "a cheese box on a raft". Yet, it was perfect for the task. Its cannons could be aimed without the ship changing course, it could go in the shallowest waters, and in the end, all modern ships borrowed from its design. The Virginia on the other hand was just the retrofitted hull of a conventionnal ship (the Merrimack) with iron sheeting slapped on. It had to maneuver to position its cannons, and it had quite a draw (during battle, the ship was ballasted so that both anchors ended up under water) I think I'm just biased and I like the "clean" design of the Monitor. But I understand that, visually, the Virginia is more appealing.

Tens of posable parts, tens of accessories, everything modelled according to the latest available historic data, huge textures to allow undistorted close-ups. If you're into historic ships, you shouldn't be disappointed.
