I am not certain what you are getting at here. Perhaps if you pick up a free model (Victoria or Michael at Daz3D for example). Then export without its head and apply some other head it maybe solves your problem. But if you want a scifi solution that will automatically map a whole body from pictures then I think you may be out of luck.

There is a nice utility called Manage Folder Now by www.elongsoft.com that allows you to do all this from the context menu (even from dialog boxes and from the Start button). You can try it out first. I use it with filetargets and copymove utilities and then everything is covered.

Try a Studio reinstall and get the latest Visual C install as well; then make sure your graphics card driver is up to date and I think the problem will go away unless you have an old machine.

Think they are quite a bit behind on the manual so many recent changes; probavly have to wait for that but the support around is good enough to manage without it ftb.

The 2.4 is at Release Candidate 1 now (I am playing with 2.4Alpha 2). When it goes final (not too long I hope) and then we can use 2.4 Blender and 2.4 Python I would be happy to do some stuff together. Maybe we could use one of those social sites like backpack and everyone could put stuff there, links images etc etc. Its difficult to do group stuff in a forum.

Im just starting in 3d and have settled on using Blender Wings Poser and Shade and want to learn Python too if I can. Think Ill be leaving the animation part alone for the time being just start with modelling and texturing. I have learned one thing-there is a lot to learn!

I saved PHF as a pzz imported that into Daz exported it as an obj from there and then imported that into Blender using the 236 above and that seems not so bad.

There is a obj_io_modif236,236d 236e and 236f scripts as well but none of them run without errors except 236 and then you still have to do manual stuff after.(Using 2.4a2) I had not heard about 228; Ill give it a go but I am sure it is more of the same.

I checked Wings and it will do the import export if Crossroads will not.

There is an old free program called Crossroads (google for it) that should do what you want and more besides.
