Don't know anything about MSF but can think of another CGI area that Geo-referencing could tap into - historical reconstructions of land/townscapes. A number of people have done these with Vue, but the spatial reference side is an issue as rivers, buildings, roads, etc need to be precisely scaled and located.

That's a useful list.
Burrowing around the web (looking for an index for wine - anyone know? - I never found it), I made a note of a few others that I came across. Might be useful to somebody so I'll post them. I can't vouch for their accuracy (I'm no natural scientist), but they came from optics/physics/materials science sites.

Re: OK dialog with yellow triangle One thing it may be doing is destroying materials! I ran the converter on one old materials folder - fine. So, with too much trust, I ran it on others. It converted the oldest materials but has done something to recent ones. They seem to be very small in file size and no longer work. Beware.
