Thats awesome, cutting that vent out above his eyes makes him look like he has angry eyebrows. Brilliant move! The teeth are much better, now all he needs is alot of slime and drool like in "Alien"

I agree on the foam, also I think you should use cloud terrains for the rapids also, not postwork. Unless you are looking for the drawn effect. One more thing, the palm trees are out of place in that type of terrain. Oh and maybe add a bit of color to the white rocks you have in the middle of the river, give them a mossy or slick look? On a positive note, you did an excellent job cutting that river into the terrain.

I think it looks GREAT, even the head, maybe just add a bit more teeth and make them crooked looking. That always scared me most in the horror films, the monster with bad dental hygiene.

I feel bad cause Dracs is such an amazing piece of work. It really is! I truly think you only lost because Bryster added more to his. /hugs

Drac's picture has more feeling in it. and its technically amazing.
Brysters picture is beautiful and also technically amazing, I would like it even more if you took out the bright green tree in front.
My vote goes to Bryster also because it seems like he just added sooo much more to his. I can't even imagine what the render time would have been with all the glass.
I LOVE the lily pond!

HAHA yea i had to turn off the preview window, IT was taking like 10 minutes to render. Ok well at least now I have a reason for all this time.

Yea I've done the saving and restarting also. I've done it about 6 times with this render alone, hehe.
This image does have 4 terrains with a water mat on it so that may be the issue. Seems to really stall out on the fountain part of it. Once it gets past that it speeds up considerably.
If I turn off shadows won't that completely change the picture/mood? I have like 6 lightsources, 3 of them in lamps or lanterns, 3 of them inside a building. I guess I could turn off the ones inside the building?
What does render to disk do?

Yea I've done plop rendering and all the others for post rendering, I'm just talking about the Final render :( I'm not sure what you mean by layering a plop render though, whenever I've tryed to fix something and then resume render, it starts over.

Quote - All Californians remember the '94 7.4 northridge quake, which is a mere 15 miles away from me. I remember it with undescribable horror.
As in too horrable to describe.
That one was a 6.7 :) I was in the LA earthquake in 1971, and I've found that everyone exaggerates the size of the quakes. I was going to say the one in '71 was 7.5, haha.

Don't spend your money on flowers! If she's already lied to you so many times, can she really be your "dream" woman? Wait for her, if shes done with the other guy and comes back to you and tells you what happened then she'll be the right one for you. Trust me on this, I used to play games between guys just like she is with you. I'm sorry :(

Second one here also, but I think it needs light streaming through also like drawbridge said. You have murky water (as it should be) and light play on the ground but yet no light rays.
