its funny that you should mention that......i recently purchased aiko from daz....and i thought the model could perfectly morph into micheal....even the nose looks identical...it was scary to say the least....i would show a pic but im at work right now nnuu

thats what im sick of......always seeing the pc version out before the mac.....wether it be bug free or not.,.....its one of the reasons i switched from mac to pc....i still work with macs at home and at work.....but i was tired of seeing the lack of selection for a computer thats twice as much as a pc......sure they run great ...the look beautiful ..... but with the extra cash i can rack up my ram....and even get a few apps ....and parts are waaay more affordable ......and my pc is running great ....my mac at home has become my tv and scanning computer ...i dont mean to start a flame of mac vs pc.....i have both now so im not really complaining too much nnuu

"Square blocks painted on canvas or paint splattered willy-nilly (seemingly in a fit of spasm) are not art (sorry - that sums up my basic feelings about most abstract art, especially that of the latter half of the twentienth century)" Kuroyume i felt the same way like you did but later learned its not whats painted on the canvas but how its done.....if your gonna take a regular rolling brush and make a red line across a huge white canvas than fine ...its crap.....but do that same huge painting with say............. a pin .....and you would probably respect it alot more ......its not really the subject matter its more in the line of the technique that is used .......the same can be said about poser.....2 poser pics....pretty much the same......but one of the pics the artist made the clothes ....made the textures......made the hair and so forth ...while the other just got the props from vendors or free stuff and didnt make the textures and so forth.....which one are you gonna respect more?.....i dont mind people using other peoples props and textures.....but leave some room for yourself to add your own touch to it instead of giving credit on your gallery pics to the artists who created them ......and the only thing original person did was adjust the lights and not even pose the character .....big deal ( sorry for goin off topic abit ) nnuu

i totally agree with the a limit of uplaoding from 3 to 1......this site used to have unlimited uploads until someone decided to upload 40+ pics each just slightly different than the other.....so they changed it to 3 uploads a day.....but that was when there were only 25 thousand members.....now there are over a 100 thousand members ...i totally think it would be a great idea to limit the uploads to one pic per day.....its not the nudes that bug me......anymore.......its the fractals that bug me......and for those of you who say that i should ignore them.....well i would if i could just ignore fractals and enjoy the other galleries ........caue i just dont want to limit myself to poser galleries ....i want to see the 2d galleries and the bryce galleries as well......dont get me wrong....some of the fractals ive seen look great in colour compostion and so forth ....but the majority of them look like they were made with some kind of fractal generator......i dont kow if they make them anyway else but IMHO there a waste of space.....sorry if i offended the fractal community nnuu

dave dont do this to yourself.....this whole p5 thing and cl vs daz thing is nothing new....this is no different than the renderosity vs poser forum a few years back ....jack can back me up on that ....this site will always be filled with negativity and positivity ....its no different than living in society ....i dont like many of the members here and im sure there are members here who dont like me neither .... but i dont give a rats ass about them and vice versa ...but they ...as do i ...have a right to have a spot here and voice our opinions ....good or bad.... nnuu

i use poser 4 and have a gig of ddr ram and its sweet.....depending on what your budget is......i know there is a difference when it comes to speed with the ddr and sdram but honestly ddr offers about a 20 % speed increase..... but really.....if it takes only 4 seconds to do some sort of operation with ddr .....it will take 5 seconds with the sdram ...... so if you really need that extra 1 sec then get the ddr if not then get the sdram.....what is fast in computer terms is not really much of a difference in human terms if you really want to visualize it......having a gig of ram wether it be ddr or sdram is still powerful nnuu

i personally dont think that we the consumer will suffer as stated above....instead we the consumer will benefit from it the fact that daz and CL are competing with each other only ends up saving us cash......i just wish daz wouuld give the commuunity an idea when his poser like program will come out......this is no difference than coke and pepsi .......nintendo and play station....compitetion is good business nnuu

are you on a mac?.....cause i have problems getting into the store on my mac.....but it does load up eventually....but on my pc it loads fine....i think it has something to do with the applet .... nnuu

i just got a new comp with windows xp......i was and still am primarly a mac user....cause of work....but i needed a new comp and i couldnt afford getting a new mac with out being totally broke......windows xp is pretty good....but i was beginning to notice that after wanting to customize and get rid of things i dont need.......i cant seem to figure out how to do that......i find a few things about it annoying.....like having msn messenger....so what you are saying is that its gonna be a pain in the ass to get rid of it?.......its retardeed if you cant shut it on or off........but its nice to finally have some speed back........super high res pics.......here i come nnuu

Well i guess im gonna stick with poser 4 with my new system i ordered.........and use the money i have for poser 5 for another program or even some models ...wouldnt mind getting a decent 3d modeling program.....we will see......but ive made my decession from looking at the posts in the past month ......and the cons about the program outweigh the pros .....and plus for me to get the program shipped here would end up costing me 400 canadian bucks (the shipping and duty and taxes is what kills it for me)compared to the 129 U.S. price tag......which makes me wonder why canada is considered as international to the the states ...thats retarded ...sorry for goin off topic abit...... nnuu

poser on a powermac 120 mhz 98 megs of ram....im not sure what my runtime is but i only have a 2 gig harddrive......thank god im getting a new computer tonight ..... nnuu

finally can get on the site.....the main page loads no problem...but when i go to the store it took 10 minutes to load and i couldnt even go to tanother application why i waited......it looked like it froze my comp...but it didnt.....so after it loaded everything else was fine........whats with that anyways?.....renderosity was faster to load when they were switching servers than daz3d site..........and i have a t1 connection......go figure nnuu

no ive been having the same problems.....everytime i log on there it crashes my browser and sometimes my mac....which is kinda hard to do ...ive been triing for about a week now...... nnuu
