So, with the A3-2-SP3 Cr2, does it make sense to consider the DAZ SP3 BodyMorphPack ($15)? Will application of such result in realistic, full-scale SP3 bodies? Or some Aiko-like version of the SP3 body? hmmmm...
Thread: Poser 4 vs Poser 5 or 6? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey Miz...help me with this: What is Content Paradise? I'm a P4 user (posette, dork, etc.) and I'm wondering what characters would be available to me if I upgrade to P6 (Judy/Don as well as Jessi and that other dude)? The P6 features blurb on Curious Lab's website didn't make this very clear to me. If I upgrade to P6, I would save posette, the dork and any stock props before uninstalling P4 so they can be imported into P6? Thanks ;)
Thread: Where can I get an Eve? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Is this the Eve version you're looking for?: http://www.senosoft.com/3dmesh.php#NewEve I'll check the other posted links to see what they're refering to (perhaps a more recent version).
Thread: FireFly Renderer vs. P4 Renderer (overall quality) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wow...awesome feedback. I'm glad to hear most feel FireFly (at the expense of render time) is detectably capable of more subtle shadows/reflections (whatever the backend antialiasing or sampling rationale). I also am hearing confirmation of: 1) render quality being largely about general lighting skill, and 2) a perhaps cumilative and expected effect of various factors on render quality(use of features like displacement, highest quality models such as V3/M3 rather than V2/M2, higher resolution image maps and the aforementioned attention to lighting, among any number of others). Again, wasn't sure the question had a fair answer, but your many responses have been pretty illuminating (bad pun). P.S. I orininally asked the question because I saw an online ad offering Bryce 5 (full) for like $69. I've been impressed with the realism achieved with the newer Bryce, kinda for how it handles light/shadow, and it got me thinking about whether it made sense to keep aiming toward P5 (I know, I know all very different features/functionality in Bryce). Thanks Again All, pdog

Thread: Searching for MG underware | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Marsuser, Down on the bottom of this PoserFashion page there's a hyperlink for some MG panties: http://www.poserfashion.net/preteen_dress_3_p4.htm I also remember some MG panties on one of the Japanese sites but can't recall it just yet (it's the one that also includes a toonish seal and such). Hope it helps, pdog
Thread: What Is V3? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
TRock, V3 is the latest in a series of commercial Poser compatible figures (also called the Millenium Figure Family, which includes Michael, Kids, Baby, Cat, etc.). They are considered among the finest available. DAZ sells add-on products, such as textures, cloths, props, etc. These figures are extremely popular and, as a result, a whole cottage industry has developed around selling such add-ons among freelance artists and enthusiests (just visit the MarketPlace to confirm). Also, the Free Stuff section is populated with many V1, V2 and V3 freebies. You might also investigate some of the other figures available for free, such as Studio Maya's "Maya Doll". This figure and many add-ons are offered at no charge;) pdog
Thread: any opinions about Reiss/Bodystudio? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Josh (as in Josh Reiss) works the studio with a small support staff...having said that, he's been very responsive in the past. I worked the original BodyStudio (for Maya) Beta, so I can't speak to VIZ compatibility. I sense that, when the travel to a tech show or the like, they run on skeleton staff in their Bay Area office. Good Luck/Sit Tight, pdog

Thread: Poser 5 on Windows NT 4? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks Spurlock5...all good advice! Yeah, because I'm running Maya 3 and 4 (which run on Windows 2000), it seems that may be the happy medium here. I also like the idea of an additional drive to boot under NT...especially because I've been having a repeated problem with my system drive dying. Sort of a backup. Thanks, pdog
