BP3D's painting can do as good as what DP3D can, it is just a matter of uvmapping technique. You need to se a good UV map to paint correctly, or preferable. Check Maxon for bp3d tut. But DP3D can do prpjection mode, which might be a good feature to some. Can't say which is the best, the most important issue is : can you paint a good texture ? You can do the same result with 2d, ps. painter, psp... as it is all aboput painting on a flat texture ( uvmapped texture ).

Hi, Deecey I have all three Dp3D plub DeeUV(Texture Weapons) is a cool 3d painting suite. Bp3d is good for realtime painting in 3d, with rendered result. ZB is easy to use with Texture Master. I mentioned Painter 3D as I don't want to miss this part when I do a feature for 3d painting-if p3d did exist. P8 is cool for it new UI.

hope have time to do LW-clothing tut, I did some 100 hundreds making or modifying in 2000-1 with LW 6.5. basically LW 7.5 works better as it supports g info for poser and uvmapper to read. cheers.

vue 4 with mover is definitely the answer, i got both and was pleased with bryce, but is now happy with vue with mover as it import poser aniamtion file-pz3. easy to use, affordable in term of cost, stable, faster...

Thread: TUTORIAL: How to give your character a new head, AND keep their old morphs!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi, MegaJar In fact, I was using LW 6.5 with UVMapper together to make clothes at that time, like I said LW 6.5 does not keep the original group info so I have to change the g as mtl before loading into Lw, then change back to g for UVmapper to remap. anyway, LW 7.5 has no such issue again.

shiuld be LW 7.0 or 7.5, 6.0 or 6.5 doesn't work as the older version do not keep g info but mtl. back in lw 6.5 when i used it to model or modify poser geometries, it was a bit harsh as the old verson just ignored group info, so i had to figure out the workaround to trandfer the g info back to poser. thanks anyway.

just an experience of mine, i used LFS 3.0/3.5 years back, i exported all the mocap info stored in the CD as BVH for poser to use. then i don't use it anymore. why, it is the mocap I need, if i make character animation, i just do it in Poser. or if you perfer to merge 2 motons, then mybe LFS can merge better using their timeline. otherwise, try their demo before buy--if they have.
