My PC club was set to expire tonight. I even have a print out of the page that says that it expires at 00:00:00 October 22. Last time I checked, it is 8:14pm CST, and I cannot make any purchases, including the ones that I have in my basket, even though I tried over an hour ago. I sent off an email to Daz asking what's the deal, but have pretty much decided that it is not worth the effort even if they respond. I am pretty sure this is the final straw for me with the PC club. Good idea, bad implementation (e.g., the renewal issues and the overall lack of items for puchasing). The non-brokered discounts are FANTASTIC, especially if you make a lot of purchases, but I have been only averaging one purchase a month (granted there are multiple items in each purchase). May I make 4 suggestions: 1. Bump up the yellow coloration in the eyes a bit (this may just be your pictures, but the ones in my books all have a much more prominent yellow) 2. The ears need to be a bit more pointier on the ends. Not too much, but a bit more than yours, which are a bit rounder. 3. The middle of the upper lip should be a bit more pronounced (higher, like a bell curve) 4. Extend the snout a bit more. Make it a bit more even and longer. Fantastic textures!!!!

There is a lot written about the so-called "divine" or "golden" ratio, especially how it relates to aesthetics in humans. Keeping the subject specific to proportions of anatomy (and not to other aesthetic or geometical observations), all of the conversations regarding this are strictly aesthetic. Look up real research where they have performed measurements on human populations and compared the results to the "golden" ratio, and guess what, it fails, big time! Now, I will not dispute that to me, the ratio does produce a pleasing proportion, but it does not reflect reality. It was an aesthetic choice that has been perpetuated by artists and so-called literates (romantics) who keep perpetuating the incorrect "fact" that the average human matches the ratio. Reality does not confirm this by any stretch. So, I am not arguing that the ratio is not useful or that there is anything inherently wrong with it (strictly referring to using it as a measure of anatomical proportions), but saying that it is the human norm and that Vicky is flawed because she does not match it is strictly silly. - Ray

And you know what... WHO CARES. Please take a look outside your window and notice that most people do not fit this so called "divine proportion" rule. If you look into this rule, they took specific ethnicities and fudged the inforamtion to fit an ideal. That is NOT how the real world is. If you are in America, most people are a bit stockier and, over the last 30 years, a lot more heavyset. Eastern Europe - stockier, shorter legs. Aboriginals - smaller legs. Hispanics - shorter/stockier. I'm sorry, you want "perfection", you want consistency, go play with your Barbies (tm).

You lost nothing. Pro Pack works only for Poser 4. Not 5. It is not free, in any shape or form, as you ahve to own Pro Pack first.

As someone who used to work as an IT marketing analyst... Nope. No way, no how. Not for a LOOOOONG time. And in computer years that means 5+ years. The thing is, the 32 bit world is very entrneched. Even given that 64 bit is now out, it will be 18 months before systems are priced consumer friendly, and will be 2-3 more before they have serious market penetration, but even then it will not be a majority. The big $ makes sense to keep it where it is at - 32 bit.

Because, since you apparently cannot read, the topic is Poser 6. Nowhere in that topic does the phrase "Daz Studio" come about - implied or explicit. The person asked about Poser 6. Daz Studio is not relevant to that discussion because it is not Psoer 6. The comments soliciting possible wish items and/or release dates are relevant to... wait for it.. Poser 6. Not Daz Studio. Feel free to go and start a Daz Studio thread, but not here, in one about, again, Poser 6.

Definitely fix P5, and call it P5.5 if you ahve to. Don't hit up the next number. Many good features, very quetionable and shaky implementation. Additionally... Wow, I am surprised it took only just a little over thirty minutes for someone to spew crap in this thread about Daz Studio, a product THAT IS NOT out, that HAS NOT BEEN TESTED, that may not be out for a while, that will have only limited functionality for quite a while, yet apparently is already curing cancer and saving the whales. Since you had nothing new to add to the thread, why not just stay the hell out? Your comments provided nothing of value to the topic of the thread at hand.
