The pic of M3 is without a skin texture. I don't have simon, but I'd assume it would be as easy as removing the skin texture and coloring the textureless body with "flesh" color.
Or maybe I'm over simplifying.

Yes, it's quite a beautiful thing. I'm getting V4 suited up right now because I'm sick of buying clothes that I don't think I'm going to use very often, and I've got about all of the DAZ figures, and now they can borrow each other's clothes.

Yeah, I know how to parent. In both cases. These are props and parenting doesn't work.
I don't know who or where I got them. If I remember correctly they are some of the first poser weapsons that I got for Poser 4 a long time ago. They may have been called Questor or from Questor, I've moved my props everywhere over time, so Lord knows.

Well, it's a little different for me. I'm a stay at home dad with two young kids, so I don't have a "job", but I do make some money on the side with Poser, so I guess that makes me a "professional" artist. Ha.

What I do is put on the skull cap dealy, parent the hair to the skullcap arrange how I like and then save to my hair folder. That tends to work.

My only regret is I already bought all Apollo stuff back in the day. Still use it, still love it. But, now that everyone has it maybe I'll get some new clothes for him. His clothes are the best ever created, but sometimes you just wanna try on something new.

In many instance you can gloss something simply by changing the highlight color to white on all parts you want to be glossy.

I had the same question just a month or two ago. It was funny because I had figures already saved where that left arm morph died on figures that were already made.
Weird, but they're right. Just reload those morphs and you'll be good to go.

I hate to be the one to suggest something so possibly stupid, but I'll say it because its happened to me. Are the textures gone when you render, if not, check your document style and see if its set to "smooth shaded." It should be on "texture shaded."
Like I say, its the poser equivilant of forgetting to turn on the iron, but the simplest answer is quite often the right one.
