Thread: poser to max | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I don't see exactly your problem. If you export from poser an obj file, import in max with habware obj2max, affect to map to a material and the material to your import, it should work. Email me if it don't work for you, Serge sergemarck@wanadoo.fr

Thanks for the tip,Jaager. And also thanks to go right to the good questions :-) I agree with all your purpose, but... "...it might be better if everyone.." : a question for a question. How is it possible to buy textures everybody can do in a few mn as they are just cut and paste of others (free or not) works with changing some parameters ? Mmmm this one was just for fun. "...Isn't making a delux Swiss Army Knife..", sure and I will not make this often ! It was only to learn. I think I will use it just as you explain. I always had some pbs for 1900 dresses as they need a long woman body (long legs and small chest) that standard posette don't have and I don't like the idea to make for this a special character which will limit the use of the cloth. It will be more easy now to do this kind of models on a morphed body, able to fit also to the standard body without too much work.

Yes, scifiguy & ookami, you are right. But when you have to do the thing 60 or 80 times, you would prefer neither click nore hit any keys to deselect. Same thing when you have to click to close an expanded tree. My purpose was only to say that when you have a repetitive work, every move saving is welcome :-) If : - the tree stay as when you make your morph choices - the file is aumatically saved after you create your morph - the morph checked are unselected after saving it would really save time. On the other side, the options choosed by CodeTwister are the best for the beginners to see exactly what they have done at each step. But this is a Taylor movement study (...I know, frenchies make horrible puns) More seriously, if there are new developments, I'm pretty sure it would be possible to create the full body morphs with an automatic cr2 analysis. It would be a great improvement as it's quite long to do this in poser.

Thread: What kinds of male characters/clothes are wanted? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Lyrra, I will make some period clothes for P4 man before the end of the year (it's in my list), but not for Michael. It's true that it's seems that poser users are more interested in woman clothes (as they are more interested in nude textures than in clothes LOL). So I suppose merchants answer to the principal request ! I must admit I prefer to model dresses, but I'm just a man ... ( any psychoanalyst hereabouts ? ) Serge

Rena, if I win, will I have a new faerie ? 2 years I'm waiting now LOL Or perhaps, a week with Steve and you ? Well, I never entered any contest . Would this one be the first one ? Joke stop here : why do you hesitate ? It would be funny. Serge

Thread: A poserfashion fantasy.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks to everybody :-) Sorry, Mehndi, but I will no more make any free stuff for victoria for a lot of reasons, here are some (ans there is a lot of others) : - I really don't like standard victoria (I find her not feminine at all, or perhaps too much for some parts) , her power is only in the morphing possibilities. To be perfect, that means morphing clothing and it's too much time for few interesting work. My pleasure is to model my dresses in 3D, all the work I have to do after for poser use (morphs, cr2, joins....) is really a pain for me and I don't want to allow too much time for that. - victoria becomes really a merchants product and there is now a lot of people trying to make money with her. I don't want to compete in any way with this. There is already a lot to buy for those who live in this world. If I make a vic or michael product, it will be to sell it too. - I always wanted to make my free items for people who can't buy all this merchants stuff : they hardly bought poser and have nothing else. So I work for P4 people. - Those who own vic2 own also vicP4 and can use P4 clothes - You will sure say : what's about the NYW ? Well, nobody is perfect : I really love this character LOL. Nevertheless, as you create so fine items, email me to explain what you would like exactly. Perhaps we will find a middle way :-) Serge
Thread: pictures of uniforms wanted | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sure, Anthony, I think Osprey books are the best for this. They cover the whole uniform story, from dark ages to today. I use them a lot to paint my military models (yes I came to poser because this was remaining me my miniatures work LOL) I think if you go to any specialized shop you will find what you need.

My apologies to Mac users. I forgot they were unable to use the autoinstall .exe files I made. They can now get .zip files (I'm not able to manage .sit files)
