Thread: The sun the water. | Forum: Photography
the picture is nice but the sun center strick is a bit agressive. I am tempted to look more at the sprinkler jet in the sun and the background but the sun stop us doing so...You could had wait that the sun move to the rigth to bring the sun to relfect and remove the ligth pole or flag pole on the rigth. Or have move past the car and get a composition under the water jet and maybe get a rainbow. (actually not yourself under the jet but by zooming in) If it whasnt of the ligth cutting the picture in half it whould have been really great.

Interresting what we can do with water...By adding more speed to the aperture it seem to be frozen in time and by reducing the speed it look more active...My preference is trap in time and you got it fine! What append to digitale one it whasnt what you where expecting?

Thread: Digital Photo vs. Regular Film Photo | Forum: Photography
For the picture quality i am favorable for digital camera... But there is a lots of inconveniance to it! The durability of the print isnt yet here..If we remove the price tag in the debate there is noway that films compete against digital. But to get really the thruth out the films for most of us is a better performer since money doesnt grow on tree. But the end of the films isn't yet but at this rate of devllopement of technologie in 5 year it will be thing of the past. I have been and inconditional of films for a long time... But know i whas having the choice of building again my darkroom in my new home and taking in consideration of all the trouble i whould get througth! I move to digital! With all the software you cant get to do so much trick that where almost impossible to do in darkroom or too much time consumming. And thinking of less chemical around the house... well digital is so far a good winner. I did buy a kodak dc4800 and since i got it i did learn more in photo then i did in 15 year of amateur photo. And for a low end digital cam i get very good print too. If you take in account that the average user never make print bigger than 57 inch print digital is more then sufficiant. 3.1 meg pixel cam give you enough to print 810 to 11*17 that are really good. If you put back money in account you get more for your money with films so far...But not for long... :0)

Thread: Kodak DC4800 users feedback please | Forum: Photography
i do have one and in fact i am happy with it. the only thing i may find anoying...is the focus! First time you press half way the button focus is not always rigth for macro. I whas having a problem often i whas forgeting the macro mode on or lansdcape mode then i whent on the kodak site and they are giving for free a software update to correct focus and on power up it is showing you in the screen the icon of the mode you are... So far 16meg come with it and to me it whas unsuficient. If you use the full resolution you will and up with only one picture at full resolution...9 meg tiff or at high compression jpg 3.1 megapixel 32 shot. If you use the 0.8 megapixel you will be able to take 47 shot of 1024*768 not bad still i di buy the 64meg ram card... So i think i gona see those site on the thread to see what people are complaining about it.... I am very please with the color rendering and with all the feature she give...almost like a 35mm manual.
