Thanks Electroglyph and TheBryster for the hard-drive info. I did lose quite a few things in the file... but a lot was saved. I did lose a computer I spent a long time modeling and placing just right. I was going to make a Bryce obp file from it... but oh well... that's the breaks. At least I got the piece rendered and out... -Susan

When I add a conforming piece of clothing to a Character Figure... the Character dissapears and the clothing takes its place... How do I add clothing to a posed figure without deleting it? -Susan

You are 100% right... I discovered that only the Props Library accepts OBJ files. The futzing around with it for a day caused me learn more about working with cameras though... so it was worth my efforts to keep trying. I'm sailing along now. Thanks for confirming Mac, Susan

I was already warned about Shamms Mortier by rickymaveety (Photography/Bryce artist). I didn't see anything at Amazon that looked good, so I went by my gut instinct and opted not to buy until I heard from all of you. Good advice mondoxjake...
