I have a tip for you phantom :) for example if your photoreference has small lips please morph antonias lips also in a smaller size. youll have less frustrations, oh and btw color edit the photos before hand in photoshop so the have approx. the same color and color out any bright areas if there are any:)

yes cut a fragment of the photo skin. choose projection mode and paste it on the model, you can scale it and then you have to choose for drop. thats it.
if you going to use DP3D than i advise you to export neck + head. and begin texturing on the side of the neck and head textures and then work your way to the front:)
Of course the front photos dont always have the same color or darkness of the side photos. no matter how good your lightning in the photos are, its inevitable to get some difference in color. so if you are in projection mode you can choose the option to go to photoshop ( i recommend CS2, the rest has some problems with DP3D) and then you can color edit the the photo fragment. and if you are done go to DP3D and choose import from photoshop. after that go out of projection mode and tadaa you have the same color as the rest of the face. its not hard but it takes forever though.

yes thats why the file size goes up immensly. but the program is great. i dont have to correct any seams cuz you can paste your photos on the seams wich is great. and you dont have to clone out some details cuz the front and the back of the model arent the same resolution. you see deeppaint dont paint on the model but above it. like some sort of mask. its wrapped around the model and floats above the model. so you dont have stretching.

yeah i know:) but thats also cuz deep paint saves each map individually. and all the layers etc so when i flatten the layers the file size will go down.

well i could but that costs me all the details. and i want a lot of details to be there:) when the whole texture is done, it'll be convertered to jpg so there will be some pixel loss

Well my PC is not the best AMD 2200+ 756 mb ram. so nothing fancy. and deeppaint is taking forever to project lol. thats because i almost finished the whole head. And the reference pictures i used are 17 mb or more each. its already taking me half an hour to just project one nostril lol

Thank you, the project is very big:) the head is 4000x4000 and the body is 4500x4500. the head texture alone is already 676 mb ( in tiff format)
