My compliments to DAZ.
This looks like a nice figure, and the hair is stunning.

 Long time ago, I build  and morphed in anim8or.
Vertex, by vertex, by vertex. => That's how I got my affection for the lower polygon figures. LOL. => Less vertex to move. => And you realy have to work hard to get something.

Then came Hexagon, (thanks to DAZ give away), and I realy liked Hexagon. => Ok, you had to save a lot, as it crashes a lot. => But it could have become a nice app if they had continued working on it. I even wrote some tutorials for it at the time.

Now using Blender, and never looked back.

The original Poser Pro Lo Res meshes (as you can see in the left), have about 8.000 polygons.
Using Poser and Blender, I Morphed / Sculpted the 2 on the right hand side.

They still use the same texture (slightly modified) and some Material room work.

They are my default test-meshes.

 Blender has all these tools and more.
It is called soft selection or proportional editing.
Lots of tutorials on the "tube us all" channel. LOL.

 It's a render or a manipulated photo. Certainly nothing that I would put in the "real" corner.

If windows update only recently killed your Poser7?

Do a Windows restore to a previous date, and then disable Windows automatic updating.

Pumeco, your eyes are playing tricks on you.

The top torso has the right dimensions for such a slim girl.

But, and here comes the but.

The breasts are completely out of proportion.

• they are way oversized for such a slim girl.

• they too high in y. They start too high up, and they go too deep down. That's what is fooling your eyes.

So, reduce breast size, and make them shorter in Y.

A slim girl has smaller breasts, certainly in Y.

Well, actually it "IS" a very good idea to add the Blend files. ( or sourse files, but Blender becoming more and more polpular, why not)

Usually, end users are looking for some item, and they find, well, "about" what they need but not "quite exactly".

When builders would provide the sourse file also, it would make it a LOT simpler for buyers/end users to adapt the product to their exact needs.
Actually, providing the sourse files could enhance sales by quite a margin.

I like the idea, and for my next items, I"ll surely add the Blend files also.

Certainly for props
For clothing or figures that require rigging, conventional or Weightmapped, it is not so simple, but certainly an option.

You need less water when you go to bath with 60.000 polygons and then try to catch each one of them for individual weightmapping.

LOL.
The clean-up afterards is not so funny. Some vertex are damm good swimmers. Ah before I forget; Add less soap, the bubbles are free.
Now you also know why I like lean and clean cr2's. LOL.

Oh, do not try this at home unless you have a waterproof tablet, or a good life insurance.
LOL.

Lost in space here. LOL. As an end user allow to tell where I am at, after close to 20 years of Posering:

I am sick and tired of fighting:

• JCM's, that never do what they are suppposed to do.
• Dependencies that are rarely if ever symmetrical
• Extra errors that are injected to cure the first series of errors.
• Magnets in whatever position, shape or form in figures.
• Shader setups that require weeks to change
• Old style "faking shader" setups.

I am at a stage now:

- That NO object gets installed in Poser => First it goes to Blender to be checked over. (Symmetry, groups, materials, UV-Map,  just to name a few)

• That ONLY diffuse textures make it to my runtime
  - That NO cr2 goes in Poser before it passed a cr2editor. (And ALL materials are removed by me by default.)

Well, that's me. LOL.

I'v been doing this for about 3 months now, and in those 3 months, I learned more then in the previous 19 years.

**Poser only needs 3 things fo function properly.

• A high quality (not high polygon, but high quality) and symmetrical object file
• A lean and clean cr2
• A high quality diffuse texture set

And you know what?
My Poser never-ever crashes any more either.

Well, that's me. LOL.
